I’m starting to believe these apartment complex are just getting rich off of application fees. I had no evictions, make enough to pay rent, but it’s not good enough. I get a letter stating that they decided to deny, but no reason was given. I know my credit isn’t great, however, it is above the range that would guarantee me to be declined. It’s no wonder that the homeless population is out of hand.

Since new management took over late 2023 things have improved. The office staff is friendly and knowledgeable and follow through is finally a thing. The maintenance staff Angelo, Javon and Kyle are friendly, very knowledgeable and take pride in their work. Being an older property there are going to be some issues related to that, however it's nice to finally have a team in place that cares about our concerns and takes them seriously. The apartments are big in area and I feel very safe here. Would definitely recommend this property for individuals of any age from young adults to retired folks, or families with children. Great location with tons of restaurants and shopping located within 5 to 25 minutes of the property.

This review is strictly for the only maintenance guy who is the only one who’s been fixing stuff in my apartment. I believe his name is Javon? I’m probably wrong but if you live here and you see him you know who I’m talking about. He always comes in with a positive attitude always is helpful and explains what he’s going to do or what he has done. He’s super friendly to my sons and I! I can say with complete confidence that if he wasn’t here, nothing would ever get fixed. I really hope the business is treating him well because I feel like they’re only standing because of him!

JoVan in maintenance is always on top of the game! He is constantly trying to find different ways to help all the residents. He is truly such a sweet man and such a hard worker, you’re very blessed to have him on your team!

Place scammed my son out of 2 $50 application fees and saying they don’t have anything in his system now he’s calling me stressing me out and it’s a new lady saying she been there only 2 days that don’t have a clue what’s she doing I’ll have my son to dispute the charges with his bank

I have been working with new manger Laura Chaddick . She is so pleasant work with . She makes living here worth it . I would definitely recommend this complex base on my interactions with her ..

Horrible experience. Hired on through sub contractor. At which time I didn't know was. I painted a whole filthy apartment. Washed down all raunchy baseboards. At least 1250 sq. Ft.2 bd 2 bath. 8 hours of work. Minus doors and ceiling cut in. Got bait and switched. By misleading, add stated $160 to 200. A day. Only to find out " the Painter dude", that hired me. Didn't say it was per apartment. In the ad. Still have not heard back. No one at Hampshire Park is even there. To explain . I want to get paid! Continuance.. it's 6 months.. still no response ?. Small claims now.

Complex was sold during the 13 months I lived there. The new owners didn’t make repairs and the place quickly became a slum. My laundry was stolen out of the dryers. Management never on site. Management not reachable by phone. To top things off, 6 months after I moved out, they falsely reported I failed to pay my August rent and turned me over to a debt collector in February. I have since proved I paid the rent ON TIME. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPLEX AT ALL COSTS.

Edited review: Management will act on apt-wide issues once everyone knows about it. That is sadly more than some other apartments. Kim has been excellent at responding and the tenet before may have just called higher management first. Kim's good, Tricap...well, it's a corp.

Overall nice apartment and community, but very bad move in experience. The manner in which the issues were handled was extremely poor, and I’m STILL having issues. The property manager response to complaints regarding short comings was demeaning and distasteful rather than being genuinely apologetic and eager to correct things and make it right. Sure, I can cancel my lease within 30 days, but of course, that would be an inconvenience for me and an added expense that I’ve already paid to move here. It’s a lose/lose situation.

Very disappointed. I did my first viewing on October 1st. Really liked the place. I applied and was approved. I was not contacted by anyone besides what I assumed to be automated emails. My requested move in date was 11/01/2022… however, the email stated the 11th of November. I have called 2x and emailed 3x with no answer. Also, the apartment I viewed is not the apartment that was available for leasing when my lease was sent over.. also,.. not by a real person. It is now October 10th and still no response from anyone. I can’t sign a lease bc it “expired”… bc I wouldn’t sign it without having my questions answered. I refuse to reapply and pay the application fee again… 9 days later.. bc no one will respond. Really wanted to call this place home but will be passing. I have no idea how they get new residents… very odd process and not welcoming at all…

I wish I could give 0 stars… I lived here from 2017-2021. I did love the square footage and included appliances but only time would tell the trap house this place is. The pool was functioning only one summer of the nearly four years I lived there and the washers and dryers hardly ever worked. The bike room that was available for tenants one day was no longer an option. Our security door was broken causing a break in to my home. These were the included amenities that made the rent higher then anywhere else which only increased year after year. Packages would be delivered to the office where no one was ever present. Water malfunctions galore! Honestly I have nothing but horror stories but the nail on the coffin for me is the fact that my dear neighbor who has lived there for nearly TWO DECADES came to my new home to inform me he came home to an eviction notice do to the fact there’s no one in the office and whoever he speaks to off in corporate lala land can’t assist him in paying his rent since it’s electronic only. He’s elderly and can no longer login to his account and has no one to assist him so he came to me and I can’t login to his account either. STAY AWAY FROM THIS INHUMANE CORPORATION!
