“One of my favorite places,,not just favorite stores,but favorite places. They have anything and everything for way less than anywhere else. Yes, some things are more than $5 now but the prices are still cheaper than other stores for the same exact product or at least the same quality. Gadgets, toys, clothes, snacks, candy, Art supplies, beauty,,, literally everything.”
“This store is a downsized version of a regular Macy. Clothes for women, men, and children. Shoes, purses, and fragrances and cosmetics department. Doesn't have a home section. Very nice dressing rooms. It is worth checking out. By Kohl's, Famous Footwear and Target in Highland Grove Mall.”
“The best Meijer, always clean and nice employees. Jonathan helped us out today when there wasn't product on the shelf, he took time to grab us what we needed from the back. A+”
“I love the groceries at meijer. It is my home away from home and I love shopping at all of the Meijer stores in Lake and Cook County. However, tonight on August 4th, 2024 at about 11:15 p.m., I was in the self checkout at the Highland Indiana store and a sale price did not come up which I realized after I had already paid unfortunately. So, I started to talk to the foreign lady about it who was working in the self-scan area. She speaks with an accent. Well, she does NOT understand personal space or pick up on social cues. I was trying to discuss the receipt and she was standing right on top of me, literally 2 or 3 inches away. I would back up to get away from her to try to have a conversation at more of a distance and she would come right up close to me again. So I backed away again to stand at more of a distance and she came right back up super close to me again. She did this four times and I realized either she is doing this on purpose because she notices it's making me uncomfortable or she literally does not understand social cues at all and she certainly does not respect personal space. It was really frustrating and aggravating. Apparently she thinks everybody wants to stand super close to her, so close that you're almost touching skin. It's simply not the case. That was probably the most annoying encounter I've had in the last 4 years. Really hoping she learns the importance of respecting personal space and understanding that she does not have to stand right on top of everybody, shoulder to shoulder, in order to have a conversation. Hoping also someday she learns to pick up on social cues if she really doesn't get it.”
“I encountered the greatest worker at Highland Indiana location! Janice was working on Christmas Eve and was dressed with holiday spirit! Janice was unbelievable pleasant! She greeted me with such holiday cheer and didn't look to be remotely phased by working on Christmas Eve! I told her they chose the right person to schedule for the holiday because she was nothing short of amazing! I think Target is very lucky to have such an amazing person working their registers for the holidays! Way to go Janice! So happy to have met you and will be shopping here more often because of her! Thank you Janice!”
“The store was so nicely lit and carts were easy to push, not like Walmarts carts. So clean and nicely laid out. I go to the Highland Target because I like the CVS PHARMACY inside the Target. The Pharmacy crew are outstanding. So helpful in so many ways. I hate Targets self checkouts. They are job stealers. The way they lined up regular checkouts dumb. Can't get carts and yourself out if some one is checking out in front register. Should have been off set. You will see what I mean when you check out. They never have enough checker.”

“Found exactly what I wanted reasonably priced. The cashier went out of her way to find me an even greater discount. Would have paid much more at Victoria's Secret. At Kohl's I got two for the price of one.”
