I brought my car in at 12:15 for oil change and tire rotation. I was told they would get on the job as soon as someone was available. I was not told this could be hours. They did a fine job but it took 2 hours and 45 minutes. Had I know I would have skipped it.

A/C went out today "Fathers Day 2024" looked up repair shops open today - on a Sunday and a "holiday" and spoke with Nick who was super accommodating and knowledgeable. AutoFix got it back up the same day ;)

Typically a helpful staff. Honest and straightforward about costs, time for repairs, and other options available. Most recently a staff honestly told me they couldn't match a price for tires and didn't try to haggle me into buying from them. Will continue to visit here first with issues.

I had a leak and stopped in to get it looked at. It was a transmission leak. Adam was in good communication with me. He explained what they found, what needed to be done, and the timeline. I was very pleased with the service provided.

Excellent service. Went in to get brakes inspected and replaced. They reported that the brakes (despite the squeeking) had plenty of wear left. So I didn't need any replacement and they didn't even charge me for the brake inspection. Thanks!They've also done good tire work for me in the past.Services: Tires

these are crooks too along with auto masters on calumet ! i took my car to auto zone before i came to these crooks and the codes they read off my engine light were for an 02 sensor . i get to auto fix and they tell me theyre gonna charge me 200 to see which sensor it could be (when i looked on the internet it said change both) i asked the guy he said u dont have to change both sensors i shoulda known then this was a scam. the. they tell me i need a pcm also. so everything came out to about $800 mind u i sat and waited six hours for this service. the next morning my engine light came back on ! haha when i came back now the codes are reading a cadalyic converter. how did i pay $200 for these people to not know anything else was wrong . on top of that my car have an obvious gas smell while started which at the end of the service i asked the guy if they said anything about the gas smell and he said no to just drive. These people are straight crooks and they **** i highly think they target black people

had two issues. 1. Noise coming from rear of car. Diagnosis: new wheel bearings on both sides. I asked them to do that repair. 2. Loud noise from blower motor. They said motor was fine. This made no sense. Took to to Subaru dealership. Obviously blower motor was broken. They also checked the wheel bearing repair and found lug nut was cross threaded/defective and recommended the work be redone. I called auto fix asking for a refund because I don't trust them to do the work. Manager Mike refused and said he would repair it under warranty. He also suggested that only the lug nut should be replaced. I told him that wasn't acceptable to me. He then condescendingly started to explain how warranties work. This is when I had enough. I am the customer and to be treated this way was unacceptable. He was combative and argumentative the entire conversation. My request was simple. Refund me only for the poor work. Not the full bill for service. Just the half that was poorly done . They also failed to inform me that I should check with the dealer because based in mileage -- the repair may be covered under the dealer warranty. It turns out, it would have been covered under the power train warranty. I didn't know that wheel bearings would have been covered. Perhaps a mechanic with some expertise and decency would at least suggest it.

Stay away! I took my car in because we were hearing a noise from the rear of the vehicle. They diagnosed it as a wheel bearing issue to which they replaced both rear bearings. There was also a loud noise when the ac was turned on to which they said everything was fine and couldn't find the issue. We then took the car to the dealer to which we discovered they incorrectly installed one of the wheel bearings and the ac blower issue was resolved quickly. After talking to the manager about the incorrect installation they would not issue a refund but wanted me to bring my car back. Over my dead body will you touch that again. Do not take your vehicle here for get repaired for any reason. They are dishonest for not refunding the work they did incorrectly. It's your fault.
