They had my Accura for 5 months first time I went to pick it up the door handle wasn't on right and we started to notice the paint was bad and the door was not put on right and nothing lined up it was missing pieces along with several other things . I took it back to them a few times and finally I had to have the insurance company come look again and the insurance lady said it was bad. The insurance company told them and they told them how bad the work was and nothing he said he called but I never had a missed call or a voicemail. So contacted a lawyer and I have been trying to get estimates all 3 body shops said it was the worst work they every seen and couldn't believe how bad they did my vehicle and they wouldn't even give a quote because of how bad the work is 1 even gave me his lawyers number because he felt bad he couldn't give me an estimate because it was that bad. They said it should be totaled and I need to get rid of the vehicle. I don't like putting any business down or Try to sue anyone. This was our first ever time dealing with a body shop and it has been a nightmare.

Althouse sold my little sister's first truck out from under a family friend without ever getting a signature. When one of my family friends wrecked his truck, Althouse towed it to their lot. A week later after plans were decided for my family to fix the truck to give to my 15 year old sister as a first truck. When my dad and the family friend went to pay the towing bill they found out that Althouse sold the truck to a scrap yard without obtaining the title or legal consent. My sister was devastated after learning that her dream first truck was stolen from her and sold for pennies on the dollar. Althouse didn't even sell the truck, that could sell for 12k with 2k of work, for enough to cover the tow bill. All in all my family and friends feel used. I will not be taking my vehicle to Althouse.

Great experience! Easy, fast, and a quality job. My brand new vehicle was hit in a parking lot shortly before Christmas. Scott and his team got me scheduled quickly, arranged for me to have a rental car, handled the insurance claim, and even arranged for my car to be detailed. Had my car back within a week. Would highly recommend Althouse Auto Body!

Job was never fully completed both through insurance claim for annoying sensor and out of pocket money for subpar paint job due to "feathering". They were suppose to fix it after they said it was their mistake and would make it right but no calls back. Ended up paying out of pocket after claim paid out to have sensor fixed by another collision shop after they told me to take it to a dealer. Regarding the feathering, which I paid over $1000 out of pocket, once they got paid and after 3 phone calls, gave up. They are too busy for you after they are paid unfortunately, even after I spoke with the owner and he said he would call me and fit me in. No phone call back ever since the summer. I understand being busy but not subpar paint job after paying over $1k and no customer service after taking my payment. Too busy to take care of customers after they are paid unfortunately. Will not use again. Leary of high reviews seems padded by non customers after the service I got. Went with them because of reviews. Buyer beware.
