I was looking for a light bulb that supported an earlier model of Verilux Happy Light. I could not find it on Verilux's website, and got a Google search saying Interlightus. com had it. I typed in the exact light bulb model. Interlightus showed the exact model. I bought it and paid the $15 on shipping. When I received the bulb, it was DAMAR and, while attempting to install it, it broke in my hand. Not only did they send me the incorrect bulb, they also provided misleading information on their website. I wrote their customer service explaining what happened, and requesting either a refund or an accurate replacement. The representative, named Brandy, had no empathy. She said I should have had realistic expectations, and that such a risk came with ordering generic, replacement products: "That unfortunately is the risk when purchasing aftermarket product. Since the bulb automatically broke upon you installing into your fixture, unfortunately there is no further action we are able to assist with. We are unable to issue a full refund. I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. Have a great day." Those were her exact words. Obviously, her poor customer service was worth a bad review on Yelp and on Google. She disagreed, saying she took customer service very seriously. That was the first time and the last time I ever bought an item from that company.

If I could give negative stars, I would. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! I ordered a light from them for my refrigerator. There was no indication on the website that it was not made by my refrigerator's manufacturer, and no different part number. When the light came it was a completely different warmth than the others in my refrigerator, so the brightness of the light is very noticeably different. I called Interlight and they told me that they reserve the right to substitute a different light as long as it will fit, regardless of the warmth. They won't refund my original shipping cost and I have to pay for return shipping. What a waste of time and money.

I ordered a Holtkotter bulb 6505 over the phone from Interlight. The bulb was $47.87 and with shipping $64.89 and never got it . Called and told them and they sent out another one that I got . And as the internet tracks you on things i got a ad the same bulb was $16.04 and free shipping on Ebay so i ordered it for a spare . When it arrived through Ebay it was from the same company Interlight . I am upset that I was overcharged by this company . I have all the invoices and mailing labels to show that both bulbs came from the same company Interlight I have called this company several times to ask why and if i could have the difference in what I paid through Ebay . I have talked to at least 3 different ladies and one lady forward my call to management Mr Ron Davis and it went to his voicemail and he has ignored me . Will never buy through them again . They advertise they have an A+ rating with the BBBwhileyou wait on the phone for an agent. But if you go to the BBB in Hammond In there rating is F

Spent a lot of money to have a UV bulb sent to me in two days. After three days, no light. Then, I see on the invoice that they put the wrong city for the address. Don’t say it—I order stuff online all the time, and didn’t put the wrong city for my own address. So, of course, they try to blame ME, but say they’ll refund it. Now, I see they took it out anyway. I’ll never get the product, so I’m disputing it. Hope they aren’t doing this intentionally. Not right.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Ordered products in July that were in stock on the website. Not only did they lie about what was in stock but they also substituted without consent and sent me the completely wrong items after waiting until the end of August for my order to be fulfilled. No one answers the phone over there, emails back and forth are in broken English. The refund took another month for them to process and they didn't even refund the whole amount. I'm out almost $40 because someone can't do basic math. I've had to dispute the original charge with my bank in order to get my money back. Do not shop here. They won't even respond to my e-mails referencing the order anymore.

Ordered an item that said it had a 2 week lead time at $350. A few days later I get a call saying the item was on an 8 week lead time, and that the price has went up to $450. If you don't know the price of an item, maybe you shouldn't let people order it. Bait and Switch isn't the way to run a company.

Shop with someone else...the shipping practices will keep you from getting your order in a reasonable amount of time. 200 miles from store and it took 5 days to deliver. They use the junk UPS Mail Innovations which is super uncustomer friendly. Shop elsewhere.... found better pricing and lower shipping charges.

Found a common tune-up kit at a reasonable price, ordered 4. The lowest shipping rate was way too high, but the kits were needed. The next week, got a call and they said the price had gone up per kit, from $9.77 to $15.00 and more shipping? almost doubled my cost. Canceled order, will look elsewhere from now on.

Interlight presents on their web sight a visual image and product description of a GE light bulb (41032). Buried in their 30+ page terms and conditions is that they are supplying a substitute with supposedly equivalent performance. What they shipped are bulbs that are dimmer than than GE bulb and a different color/temperature than the GE bulb. They charged $13.91 for the bulbs and $15.51 for shipping. When I asked to return the bulbs the told me I would have to pay the return shipping and they would review reimbursement for the returned bulbs and there is no reimbursement for shipping. This company IS NOT reputable. They should be absolutely be avoided.

If you're looking for a difficult return experience where you end up spending more money returning a product than you initially paid for it, Interlight is the way to go! We received a defective product that died after only 6 months of purchase. The item has a four-year operational replacement guarantee which Interlight did NOT honor as they are not the manufacturer. They charge a 50% restocking fee in addition to you having to pay to ship the item back to them. Essentially, we are paying them more than HALF the cost of the initial purchase just for them to take this item back with no financial gain as they only provide store credit for returns within the first 30 days.This company is a ripoff. I would not recommend anyone purchase anything from this site. Their discounted prices seem convenient until your product is a lemon and you have to pay even more just to get it off your hands.

Buyer BEWARE!!! Purchased an alternator for our boat after reading reviews. Alternator has now failed less than 60 days from order date. When interlight was called we were informed that we have NO WARRANTY, and to add insult to injury they assess a 25% restocking fee for each 30 days after purchase…. AND the consumer is responsible for shipping costs to send the item back. To make matters worse, the customer service operator almost sounded happy about delivering piece after piece of bad news!!Please think twice before supporting this company with your business!!
