Personally I love going to this Dollar General because it's convenient for me. The staff are friendly and they work so hard to get their store together.

I was looking to purchase a large amount supplies to be used for an art gallery project. Instead of any type of greetings… as I searched the store I heard insulting comments from two employees belittling my appearance because my hair is dyed purple. They said “ I can’t believe she’d do that to her hair. People need to act their age instead of thinking they can color their hair these childish colors.” Then continued to laugh and suggest going blonde but buying wigs as if my look was comedic relief. It took ever bit of self control to walk away without causing a scene, especially after making eye contact with them and they laugh in my face. I hope no one else has had this misfortune shopping here let alone anywhere!!

The stores always out of stock of items and the pricing is never correct. You have clearance items marked, but they’re not really clearance not only that they give you the hardest time about your digital coupons and they are very rude to customers.

As a Dasher and a paying customer I would not go here. Take your business where the employees treat customers with respect.bplus the store was out of stock on many items.

This is a great addition to the neighborhood. The staff is head and shoulders above other stores in Hammond. They are always helpful and so very cheerful. It's a great way to start your day if you're an early shopper. The more I go there, the more I like it. They have a great selection in all departments. I just wish they had more in the pet treat area.

I'm so glad this place open near me the staff is very personable polite and just down to earth at least I feel that way with a few of their staff members and better prices than other stores similar in area

Have been in this store multiple times... EXTREMELY rude cashier every time... laughing and joking with her co worker didn’t say hello and had the most disgusted look on her face like she was miserable dealing with me... when I left I made sure to tell her to have a good day and she didn’t respond and rolled her eyes and walked away will definitely be following through with corporate this is a new store and I am a customer and refuse to be treated terribly for no reason

Sold my 13 year old 2 different prepaid cards 1 for 30 1 for 100 neither worked nor were activated I even called the police & had my receipts they kept the activated cards & gave him un activated cards $130 that I will be getting back can’t wait for cooperate to contact me look at the cameras they don’t lie Dorthy the manager was very rude because sold him the $30 card they are pocketing money I will fight for my son money back no telling who all they are doing this too !!!!!!!!!
