After having my vehicle nearly totaled by an underage, unlicensed, uninsured driver - I was without my vehicle from January to August. I had THE most horrible experience with my-then second rate insurance company (American Alliance) who could care less about my claim, much less answer the customer service line. From the very first phone encounter with Martinez Auto in July, I began to feel like things were turning in my favor. Arnie and Eddie were so professional, pleasant and kind - and I really appreciated that. They kept me informed every step of the way, making sure I was updated on the progress of my car. Well, just when I thought things couldn’t get much better than this, I got the call that my car was ready to be picked up. What a pleasant, pleasant surprise! “Carlos R Tracy sold his shop back in 2016!!! Not sure who painted your car over there on Osborne, but it wasn't T&R. There is a new owner in that building, but it is not Tracy. Noticed that your post is from this year? He is in the process of a new location, but is not open to the public as of yet. Currently doing work for SEMA projects and high end hot rod builds. You should call 219-845-8022 to find out who really painted your car? From what you are saying I know it wasn't T&R. He doesn't do shotty work like you are saying.”
“Body shop work was performed professionally and timely. I was always informed of the progress of the repair and any parts issues that occurred. Any delays that we experienced was generally due to disagreements between the shop and my insurance company over OEM and refurbished parts and I was even included in those conversations. Bottom line, repairs were excellent without question. We are very pleased.”

“I went and got an estimate. They were straight forward, no trying to make me feel dumb about what was happening. They called after i dropped it off and they looked at it and let me know what was going on. More work had to be done than originally estimated. They were in contacts with the ins for that. I didn't have to make even one phone call. They were so nice to me when I went to pick it up. I was 15 min later than their close time and they didn't have an attitude about it. Needless to say even if I had to come out of pocket, I would still bring my vehicles here.”

Jeff has a great personality and was very knowledgeable. Jeff was able to get me into the vehicle I inquired about and was accommodating. “Overall they did a good job. My bumper looks clean and new. I did have to point out an error to them when I went there to pick up my car. They made the adjustment. Later that same day I noticed another error with my hood so I had to go back the next day for another adjustment. I would just say they probably should have second eyes on the work that goes out once completed. Would’ve gotten them 5 stars from me.”
