“What a pleasant surprise. I had been waiting over a month for a part for my VW Atlas from another recycler. I finally gave up and found the part on NAR's website, I ordered it and picked it up a few days later. THey kept communicating with me as I neared the pickup date. NAR wasn't selling something that they didn't have. When the bumper cover was taken from their warehouse and brought to the store, they discovered that there was some slight damage to it. I was contacted, and we discussed the scratches and was offered a better price if I still wanted it. No pressure, just great service. Just walking into the store front made me realize that NAR really appreciated me as a customer! I highly recommend Northlake Auto Recyclers if you need a replacement part. I left a very satisfied customer with the part I needed!”

“Their machine shop sorted my cylinder head out, resurfaced, and replaced the valves and seals after our vw timing chain tensioner failed, jumped time and bent all 8 intake valves. Dealer wanted to replace the engine at $9500 but since we have a place like this that still fixes things, saved $8500 and back up and running! Thank you!”

“We came to get a check engine light reading. We experienced team member “Edward Leon”. He was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to help us out. He suggested we buy a specific part to get the engine off and after replacing, the light hasn’t been on since. He was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and possessed unique customer service skills that made us comfortable.”
“Body shop work was performed professionally and timely. I was always informed of the progress of the repair and any parts issues that occurred. Any delays that we experienced was generally due to disagreements between the shop and my insurance company over OEM and refurbished parts and I was even included in those conversations. Bottom line, repairs were excellent without question. We are very pleased.”
“Needed a rim to be unbent did a great job just told me to tell the business that is putting them rim back on the tire to add seal. A couple days later the tire was flat, took it back thinking was the rim when it turned out to be the business just didn’t add any seal, so they did it and didn’t charge me a dime.”

They called after i dropped it off and they looked at it and let me know what was going on. More work had to be done than originally estimated. They were in contacts with the ins for that. I didn't have to make even one phone call. They were so nice to me when I went to pick it up. I was 15 min later than their close time and they didn't have an attitude about it. Needless to say even if I had to come out of pocket, I would still bring my vehicles here.”

I was just there yesterday, December 15, 2022 to have the codes checked (my check engine light was on) and they quickly and professionally read the code and then, when we went back inside, it was looked up for me so that I could understand what might be going on with my car. Being a Saturn owner, I have to stay on top of things because there are always things going wrong with it. Thanks to the staff/team at Advance, especially at the one in Hammond, IN, I always have the help I need when I need it the most. Thank you!!! “I love this location.They are always helpful.I went in for tires and had problems with my battery and they identified and fixed the problem.They called while I was shopping to let me know my battery was bad and did I want to purchase a new one.As well as I ordered the wrong size tires and they helped me buy the correct ones and return the other ones.The prices wasn't too steep and everything was done the same day.”

“Overall they did a good job. My bumper looks clean and new. I did have to point out an error to them when I went there to pick up my car. They made the adjustment. Later that same day I noticed another error with my hood so I had to go back the next day for another adjustment. I would just say they probably should have second eyes on the work that goes out once completed. Would’ve gotten them 5 stars from me.”
