The doors were locked at 2:30pm and they close at 4:00pm make it make sense.

Not sure how they're supposed to handle an emergency if they don't respond when it's thirty minutes from close. I'm sure they got into this for the love of animals, not to ignore them, and they ought to reflect that in their service regardless of being within an hour of close or not.

I was told they are not open to the public and turned away. This was very discouraging and seemed very odd. Why would this website say they have certain hours of being open but yet when you arrive they refuse to let you see there animals. Didn't even let me see what was behind there door.

Very good. Went there to get a vaccine for a cat we recently adopted that needed another distemper. Woman there was quite knowledgeable and nice.

Online it says they open at 8am, its currently 9:15am at the time of this review. I picked up a kitty lastnight and am unable to take care of him or take him to another shelter because everywhere is “full” “. Anyway this place did NOT open at 8am. I’ve called multiple times, went in person at 8:15 the doors were locked. And the absolute worst thing is that online the number they have listed is for the non-emergency POLICE department for Griffith. What the actual darn is going on with this place.

I had a hard time finding the building. Nobody answered the door. And I had to call several times before I got someone to answer. Plus side I couldn't smell animal's nor hear them.

Many of the cats ears are clipped that can be adopted out and are kittens. TNR and ear clipping should be for feral cats ONLY that can NOT be homed. The ears are clipped too short on many that I have seen which can be painful and cause health issues for the animal. I see these cats at the petsmart up for adoption. Please stop clipping the ears on adoptable cats and kittens! And please stop clipping too short!
