“If been coming to Welch's Stop and shop for decades. Always had a great experience. Excellent selection of Meats and Deli items. Their fresh polish sausage is amazing and a favorite during the holidays. For Thanksgiving and Christmas you can order a fresh unfrozen turkey.
Employees are friendly and the store is clean with plenty of parking. During the warmer months on Saturdays they have a lunch cook out in the parking lot.
I love the smell when I first walk in. Reminds me of when I would take my mother there so she could shop. Great memories.

I am a retired butcher with 60 years in the meat business. I've eaten steaks of all kinds from all over the world. Some were great, some not so good.
My wife and I now are senior citizens and do not eat that much meat anymore, when we do have steak we want it to be top quality. That is why we wanted to try Linz's dry aged Prime grade Angus bone in rib steaks and their Steakhouse Burgers.
The steaks sent to us were EXCELLENT, tender as butter and full of flavor the same as you would get in a high quality steakhouse, one of the best we have ever eaten! As for their Steakhouse burgers, they also were EXCELLENT too, full of juicy flavor the way a great burger should taste.
Take it from this retired butcher, if you want a high quality steak or burger, you gotta try MEATS BY LINZ! The one thing I would like to see is a 16 oz. bone in rib steak, the 20 oz. steaks are a bit much for a senior citizen, in fact we both shared one steak, it was delicious and oh so good!”
“I never had a bad experience with Johnny's. He and his son is so helpful everytime I come in there and my child father comes in there we are in wheel chairs and they make sure we get everything we need and even when it's alot to carry or put on our wheel chairs... his workers gladly walk with us home to make sure our groceries get to the house and we were only right up the street. My family is so please and thankful for johnnys.”

No but they're really good too. Bought some tomatoes from here and they were nice and ripe. Everyone was nice too so that's another plus.

“OMGOOD GOLLY!!! I have been going to the Wurst far a number of years now… I cannot express all of the wonderful benefits of eating whole meats… I lost weight… it’s easier to digest… my cholesterol levels have dropped… plus more… I CANNOT BUY MEAT ANYWHERE ELSE… the store is spotless.. you can see what you are buying on both sides… you definitely get what you pay for the cuts and ground beef are so lean juicy and deliciously satisfying you will not regret your purchase EVER!!!
Ricky is so knowledgeable about every cut and has the answer for anything you ask…
He saved an event I had at home!!! I was so stressed about how to prepare the meat afraid I was going to use too many spices etc… after talking to Ricky in a few sentences my stress was completely gone I was certainly going to over do !!! He had all of the answers!!! Including showing me one of his recipe books for some great sides…
In a nutshell… MY EVENT WAS A HUGE SUCCESS… my menu was different than my norm so by Ricky taking away the stress made it fun… the meal I made was the GREATEST!!!
