“This is hands-down the bus European market that I’ve been to in this area. I have been to a lot, even in Schaumburg Illinois. The prices here are fantastic. They had so many different types of tea, and even supplements / herbal extracts! I actually found some bee propolis, and the price was fantastic. Was not expecting to find that there. Took my dad with and he found many different cookies that appealed to him. If you’re looking for a gift for somebody I highly recommend coming here. They did have a small selection of wine, frozen section, and lots of different pickled vegetables! Go check it out”
“I love Camotes Island Market! The staff is super helpful, the grocery selection is great, and the produce is very fresh. This is my first stop for groceries when I know it's something they carry.”
“I rarely get up to Crown Point from Rensselaer but when I do I stock up at Welch's for their homemade sausages. I hate buying polish and Italian sausages from the grocery stores ?Thank you.”
“Great selection of meats at reasonable prices. I particularly liked their pork steaks; they're cut thick, and they aren't ragged like the ones you get at the supermarket. The staff were patient while I browsed, and helpful when I had questions. Also, they do accept EBT/Illinois Link, so I recommend checking out their bulk deals or their discount steaks.”
“Oh yeah, 1$ tacos seven days a weekThe refried beans and rice were excellent. Love the tacos. Love the refried beans and rice. Keep up the good work.Would definitely recommend”
“I do almost all my shopping here. Great sausages and smoked meats made in house. Very reasonable pricing. One of the few stores you can still get meats cut to order if you give them some notice.”
“Delivery drivers use the following route to get here:1) Take I-94 to Exit 71B/Sibley Blvd2) Go east on Sibley Blvd. Sibley Blvd and IL-83 split off at Torrence Ave. When you reach that split continue straight on Sibley Blvd3) Follow Sibley Blvd to Burnham Ave4) Left onto Burnham Ave5) Before you go over the first bridge take the ramp on your right to State St6) Take a right onto State St and follow to the customer on the left7) Best advice is to park on Plummer Ave behind the plant before checking in because they have "no truck parking" signs all up and down State St. The police are known to issue citations for trucks parked on State Street (even in commercial loading zones)Check in at the receiving office. They will call you with a door and call you when they're done unloading”
“I never had a bad experience with Johnny's. He and his son is so helpful everytime I come in there and my child father comes in there we are in wheel chairs and they make sure we get everything we need and even when it's alot to carry or put on our wheel chairs... his workers gladly walk with us home to make sure our groceries get to the house and we were only right up the street. My family is so please and thankful for johnnys.”
“BEST meat ever.. flavorful, lean, and cut to the shopper's choice. Yes, it's a little more expensive than the grocery store but well worth it. You won't be disappointed.”
