So, I don't honestly know how much this place costs because my mom got it for a COVID-friendly family Christmas, but I assume it was reasonable, knowing my mom.Cons: the decor is...dated. I would say the kitchen is "late 80s suburban" themed. Also the floorplan is the opposite of open. The house seems to flow endlessly from room to room, with new rooms materializing from each other at every turn. Imagine that your grandma's house had a baby with an old timey funeral parlor. Also there were some weird rules (don't use the Wi-Fi, you can eat in every room except for one, enter and exit specific doors)Pros: the space is versatile. The common area with all the tables (like where the body would be displayed if this were actually an old timey funeral parlor) was immense. The kitchen was also pretty big. And the grounds were nice. The pond, I think, would be really pretty for a summer event. And downtown greenwood is the Southside's most charming area, and it isn't close. Also everything was clean, and the staff member my mom worked with was very helpful and thorough.All in all, if you have a large family gathering (20-30 people, 50+ in good weather) and need an accommodating location in a cute part of town, this is your spot, but if your guests are looking for shiplap and stainless steel fixtures, you shouldn't even bother here.

I love officiating weddings at the Winchester. It’s such a beautiful venue that really caters to the couples wants and needs. They have great communication, experience and are so professional but personable. You have a outdoor and indoor option for your ceremony. The personal touches they have added to the venue make it a unique place to hold a wedding or smallEvent. I highly recommend The Winchester.

I had never seen this place before and I was pleasantly surprised at the way they have converted a beautiful old Victorian style home into a venue. The outside had plenty of delightful places for photos such as a pond with gazebo and bridge. I was not the organizer, so I dont know prices aside from on Dunday, it can be rented for one price all day u til 6pm. The other days have more hourly structure. There is a full kitxhen to use. You can bring your own food. I would conaider this in the future should the need arise.

Absolutely wonderful venue!!! Highly recommend Winchester Place for any event. Garnett and Dave are great and are there to help every step of the way. Our outdoor wedding ceremony and reception were held here and everyone had a great time! Their preferred D.J. was wonderful, and they also were willing to work with our choice of photographer and caterer.

We have held our Christmas parties here for several years. It is always decorated beautifully. The owners are fabulous to work with. I can not say enough wonderful things about this venue. I highly recommend it for your event.

Winchester Place is a lovely setting for gatherings during any season. I like the willow trees.
