I would recommend this store to anyone with foot pain she has amazing knowledge and nice shoes, kind, friendly and wise, I wish I could give 10 stars thank you for helping my wife walk again.

My right leg was in significant pain from the bottom of my foot to my hip. For months I had been walking with crutches, a cane or a walker because no one could figure out the source of my leg and hip problems..
one of my friends told me about the success she achieved (pain free, no more fallen arches and did not need foot surgery) after she starting wearing orthotics made by Kathy. After my initial video call with Kathy, I chose to drive from my Wisconsin home to Greenwood, IN to ensure my orthotics were fitted properly and to learn as much as possible about my feet.Kathy spent significant time with me sharing her vast knowledge of how feet are supposed to function, how the body is affected if feet are suffering (I was very familiar with that!), and ensuring a perfect fit of custom orthotics. Suffice it to say I walked into her shop with crutches and walked out without them!I’m so grateful for all of Kathy's knowledge and expertise. Kathy told me what it should feel like to walk properly .. now every step I take brings me closer to rehabilitating my body. I am much steadier on my feet from the stability I have in shoes that actually fit me with orthotics to help me walk like I should.And —- I cancelled my orthopedic surgeon appointment since it is not a hip issue after all — it started with my feet! No hip surgery needed.Kathy is a miracle worker. Thank you, Kathy, for helping me when no one else could.

Everyone with feet should go see Kathy at WalkEZ! There’s no one in the world who cares more about your feet/shoes (as well as everything impacted by the feet…knees/hips/back/etc) than Kathy. This has been a major paradigm shift from everything I thought I knew about shoes, orthotics, and feet. She has drastically improved our lives thanks to these custom orthotics (and her knowledge). We feel so blessed to have found her and we look forward to continuing working with her!

im pleased that this store has helped me walk better ni hip back or feet pain. my podierset is very pleased with the shoes and what Kathy has done before your doctor says operation i would recommend seeing her first, because your pain might go away. even my doctor says she would recommend, her a juile are very nice people. It's too bad i did not know this place sooner. . thank you can kathy and juile

my doctor recommend this store there one in Plainfield Indiana but i found out . they do the best in greenwood. indiana. i have been three times and kathy has helped me find the right fit and shoes, i have not had any foot or back or hip pain, with these shoes. just be ware people must use patience getting dealing with this store. i

This is a lengthy review; foot ailments are rarely simple affairs. If you're searching for a certified pedorthist (C-Ped), you're probably like I was: down-and-out with pain. Perhaps you can benefit from my story. If so, I invite you to keep reading. If not, contact the store for an appointment. You won't regret it.I suffer from neuropathy in both feet, caused by tibial nerve damage from tarsal tunnel syndrome. It causes chronic pain, and while much less serious than other problems, at times, it's the bane of my existence. I've spent thousands of dollars - and thousands of hours - in attempts to control it. I've tried it all: doctors, pills, physical therapy, topical creams, foot massage, and many pairs of shoes. After a decade of pain, I discovered the WalkEZ Store, and it's been transformational.In early 2020, the pain in my feet was unbearable. I was seeing a podiatrist, who is a good doctor, but I was not gaining any improvement. She offered to craft orthotics for me. I'd had them in the past, products I purchased online, and they helped. After some research, I decided my best option was to see a C-Ped, whose sole occupation is to correct poor foot biomechanics. I called and made an appointment. The customer service, from the first call, was excellent.The WalkEZ Store, tucked in an office and retail building in Greenwood, is owned and operated by Kathy Carandang. While the store is physically small, its offerings are huge. When I arrived for my appointment, I was pleased to find myself being the only customer in the shop. Kathy works by appointment, which ensures totally personalized service. We began by discussing my ailments, before proceeding with various gait analyses and an eventual casting of the feet. I learned more about why I developed my condition in an hour with Kathy than through many hours with physicians and physical therapists.During my initial appointment, Kathy looked at my shoes, and she determined none correctly fit my feet. She sold me multiple pairs of new shoes, and she altered several of my existing pairs so they would better fit. As a side note, the WalkEZ store carries two brands of shoes I highly recommend: Samuel Hubbard and Xelero.By the end of my first appointment, I left with my new shoes and my custom orthotics. The orthotics were quite uncomfortable, and while most customers do not need an adjustment, Kathy said it was likely I would need to return. I had serious problems which required serious correction; it would have been impractical to expect a quick fix. After a week of continued pain, I returned for an adjustment. After another week, I again returned. Kathy refused to quit on me - something other professionals have done. After my third visit, her adjustment was a charm. My pain subsided. I took 6.78 million steps in 2020.After more than a year, I returned the WalkEZ Store for a checkup. I'd started having some pain again, and it was time for a correction. When Kathy crafted my updated orthotics, we marveled at the positive changes made to my feet. Even my bones had moved into their anatomically correct positions. This year, 2021, has been my most pain-free year since 2011. I'm averaging 20,000 steps per day.I credit Kathy Carandang and her WalkEZ Store with restoring my life. I suffered from back and foot pain for many years. WalkEZ's professionalism and commitment to service, and the integrity and caring demonstrated by Kathy made it possible for me to discontinue prescription pain medications.

I have had increasing pain in my lower back and left hip due to S/I joint dysfunction and resulting bursitis for about a year and a half now. I have seen two different specialists, been through two rounds of physical therapy, and had 3 steroid injections (the effects of which lasted about 2 weeks each time), all of which resulted in spending a small fortune with no real lasting benefit to my overall level of pain. I was desperate, so at the suggestion of my sister, I decided to try orthotics and sought out the Good Feet Store in my area. I was unpleasantly surprised when the salesperson told me it was going to be $1300 for a set! I thought there had to be another option. So, I did a web search for "custom orthotics" and the WalkEZ Store popped up. Right off the bat, I noticed that the pricing was all transparent and that they actually made orthotics that were custom-fit for your feet. Plus, they had a ton of reviews that were obviously written by real people who had experienced real results. I made an appointment for a consultation with Kathy for just a few days later and was so amazed when she spent over 2 hours with me and shared so much helpful information. I walked out with my new custom orthotics in a new pair of shoes that fit me correctly and spent a fraction of the cost I would have incurred at the other store for just their pre-made product alone. I've been wearing them almost non-stop since that appointment almost 3 weeks ago and I have already noticed a marked difference in how my hip feels when I am walking and moving about. My pain is not completely gone yet, but I do feel like these orthotics are making a very positive difference. I can't wait to see what the effects will be over time! Erin has been my accountant for about 3 years. She is extremely knowledgeable and careful in preparing my taxes! She works diligently to find any way to reduce my tax bill. She has even spoken with my financial advisor on ways to place investments so there would be less taxes. Erin is very flexible and will bend over backwards to give me the best service! I trust her judgment and knowledge completely. Her fees are extremely reasonable. So glad I found her on Yelp! It is such a relief to have an accountant that is truly focused on what is best for me!

I went to Walkez due to peripheral neuropathy and other problems with my feet. Kathy was very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. She made the orthotics while I waited and adjusted one of them before I left. My feet felt better that day. I went back in about 2 weeks to have another adjustment to one of the orthotics and my feet are better than they have been in years.
