This store is way too overpriced and the employees don’t care if you buy or not.They advertise they have new step in Skechers shoe and then when you look at a pair you discover there are laces to deal with. That defeats the whole purpose of a step in?I had joined Skechers Plus and was rudely told that “Since these are new to the product line you can’t have any discounts.”. Oh really?I’m so tired of being told NO. Anything can be discounted.Case in point:We then went to Rackroom Shoes (in the same mall)my fiancé found Skechers that he liked and I found a pair. We got BOTH pairs for what we would have paid at the Skechers store for one pair at a discount . His shoes were identical to the brand new model. Since the laces are short he concluded he could deal with it. Also, the employees were welcoming, friendly, and eager to help. Not the case at the Skechers store. We were glad we walked out of there never to return.

Customer Service .... it is very important to treat customers with respect. I'm not sure who has trained some of these employee but email/chat and phone etiquette are important aspects of good customer service. I have purchased SKECHERS shoes for sometime now and most recently I was introduced to foamies max. They are like crocs on steroid. They have a thicker sole and provide excellent support for my back and feet. I am often complimented and asked about my shoes. I have recommended them to several patients and coworkers. Well about 1mth ago I left a pair in my work bag in the car and when I went to put on the shoe it had shrunk.I was devastated because I didn't know. Today I called customer service to see what assistance they could provide and I was rudely responded to by the customer rep.I asked if there was a warning on the shoe in the box somewhere for the customer to be aware and I was told it's common sense ????? I wanted to grab Marissa through the phoneShe seemed to be offended by my questions but I'm the customer that's out of a $65 pair of shoes. IJS.I ASKED FOR A CORPORATE NUMBER AND SHE ENDED THE CHAT AND GAVE ME THE SAME CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER.I am appalled and extremely disappointed in the service.Please don't support a company that treats a customer this way.
