Employees are smart mouthed, finally spoke to the manager Stephen and he laughed about me mentioning this to him. Will be buying from Menards next door. New management maybe? Didn't used to be like this at this location at least.

This is my third strike out at this particular Home Depot so I guess it's time to review but I do not like doing negative reviews. When I lived in Tucson, Home Depot worked for me all the time. I was a regular customer purchasing all kinds of home supplies. But back home in Indiana it just hasn't worked out for me. I just can't find what I'm looking for or they do not carry the products I need in their inventory. Today I was wanting to buy two items. A Black & Decker weed eater or trimmer/edger which their web site they had but in their store there were only two brands neither of which was B&D. One brand I never heard of or could I pronounce the name, the other brand, Milwaukee, was all cordless power tools. I have a cordless blower and they do not have enough power because they try too much to save energy to make the power pack last longer. I have two power packs and together they are barely enough to get the job done. I can't imagine using a cordless trimmer that would require even more power than a blower. In addition, every thing was locked up so I would have had to find an employee, with the key, to unlock them so I could put one in a box in a basket to buy. Not very customer friendly. This is not the case with their main competition in Mooresville, where there are five different brands and nothing is locked up.The other item I was looking for was a small barn made of wood, not metal or plastic. They had wood barns but they were too big and too expensive for my fixed income budget. I did find a 6ft by 5 ft shed for $799, but it was made of resin (plastic) and would not fit my needs. I'm going to be cutting holes in it for a pet door and making other modifications so I need wood to add shelving, etc.

If you need extended warranty, do NOT buy it through Home Depot. We purchased the 5-Year extended warranty on our LG Washer and have had NOTHING but problems. Our washer has been down for 2 months now and I've had to call them 6 times to TRY and get it serviced. NO ONE HAS BEEN TO MY HOME YET TO EVEN TROUBLESHOOT THE WASHER. Extra fun side info - You can ONLY go through Home Depot for the warranty to be valid. Sounds fine until you try to schedule with one of these clowns. Their "preferred" appliance repair providers are a JOKE. After the 2nd no-call no-show, I call the 800# to ask them what they are going to do to get this resolved - how many times should I take off work to wait on your companies that aren't showing up? The supervisor this has been escalated to says "Well, we only show 2 providers in your area and we've used both". Really? That sounds like a YOU problem! I paid for this service and after everything you've put us through, THAT is your response? Not to mention, you can barely understand the people on the other end of the line. On the off chance you do happen to find someone to perform something called "Best Interpretation of English, they speak to you like you're a stupid hooker. I normally charge $2.99 a minute for those conversations, buddy.Anyway... at least it just my washing machine being out of commission for 2 months. Good thing it's not something like NOT being able to wash my husband's SKID MARK UNDERWEAR piling up in the corner affecting our day to day life in our adult size litter box happening in my dining room!!!!You shouldn't even get a star. Stars are for winners.Home Depot - after 16 MEGA LOADS this past weekend.... come do my laundry and REPLACE MY WASHER ALREADY!

MY ORDER WAS PLACED IN NOV! NOT COMPLETE! I'm in the same position as some of the others, only my was defective dryer. No one answering the phone. HomeDepot.com whom I spoke with on several occasions was disconnected 3xs while they had me on the line day before yesterday. Talked to Ruth,Store Manager, yesterday said she was going to get it taken care and would call back! Later in the afternoon I get a call from a Paul who said he would call me back with details on a reorder because they cxd my dryer after delivery guy found electrical component missing. He called right before he was to clock out. I was away from phone...no msg left. Recognized number and called back 2 mins after he called. Sabrina at front desk said he had left for the day. Paul was to call this am. No call. Tried to call today. 1st call 20 min of ringing then disconnected. Second call (10min) sent to wrong department and then "appliances order specialist" got a vm. Waiting on Home Depot to do the right thing. Holding up construction, (cabinets placed) I'm so tired of people not caring about the products and services they are supposed to be providing and don't.

Absolutely do NOT purchase large appliances from Home Depot. It has taken 3 weeks to get my delivery (that they messed up) and when I finally got the items, they delivered a defective washing machine. Now, they are saying it’s going to be over a month or more before I get a replacement. At that point, It will be 2 months of paying for a product that doesn’t work and I’ve only been given a less than 10% discount for all the trouble they have caused. I have to repeat the story every time I call their service team and they have failed multiple times now to do what they say they are going to. I have given them 3 WEEKS of chances before coming to social media to write this review, but i am over it.

Home Depot took $16,495 of my money, set me up with a contractor and gave the contractor complete control over the project. Was told when I wrote the check to expect to be completed in 4 weeks. Came out to measure and was told 8 weeks. Contractor is weeks behind that schedule. does not show up when they say they are going to. Home Depot can do nothing for me. In all the weeks of this project I have received one call and one text from the contractor Home Depot set me up with who identifies themselves as Home Depot but they are not. because Home depot gives the contractor control of the project, they won't help with any issue you have. the contractor took a week and half to return my call after the third attempt to contact them in week seven of the project after not hearing anything from them

I've always gotten great service at this location. John in garden really hooked me up by taking a shelf off of one of the Nexgrills and fitting it into my car. He was really friendly and glad to help. This made my day after a really awful Lowe's experience.

I normally do not review large chain establishments, but I am making an exception in this case because my experiences with them have been so good. I am a frequent flier here and should have my own parking spot by now. Every time I visit here the place is so clean and the employees here are so helpful and knowledgeable. Today for example, I was in an aisle looking at water heaters and 4 employees stopped as they were walking by and asked me if I needed any help. Now days that does not happen much. As an added bonus they will cut your wood for you to fit in your vehicle and there is always a lot of employees around. During my frequent visits I sometime have to return things. They have one of the most hassle free return policies that I have experienced. And the e-receipts make returning stuff that much easier.They have an awesome pick up system if you can plan ahead and do not want to come into the store and provide masks and hand sanitizer for customers that need them. My kids like the racing car shopping cart and it keeps them entertained while I shop. I really love this place and trust me a have a large sample size to come to my decision about this place.

I am a supporter of a full-on BOYCOTT of Home Depot due to the co-founder and former CEO, Bernie Marcus’ endorsement and support of a foolish, feckless, unintelligent, and dangerous president. By doing nothing to stop Marcus from this path, the current administration of Home Depot is just as culpable.

2/27/17 still no response, I can not believe Home Depot will not take care of this issue. we had our tile installed 10 months ago, I contacted Home Depot the same week, keep getting the run around. It's been over 2 months since they said we would be called by their insurance company. My tile is still popping off, carpet is ruined and my door frames are damaged, still no call? I keeping hearing ads for Home Depot tile sales, buyer beware!1/9/17 we had our tile installed 10 months ago, I contacted Home Depot the same week, keep getting the run around. It's been over a month since they said we would be called by their insurance company. My tile is still popping off, carpet is ruined and my door frames are damaged, still no call?12/16/16 after being told for months I would be taken care of on the crappy tile Job I get a letter from the fly by night installation crew "William Mccully Crew 2" letting me know they have no responsibility for the damage to my house or the tile that has been falling off since day one. What a hack company! I also was told due to the damage Home Depot insurance company would contact my. It never happened.11/14/17 3 weeks, no return call. Home Depot will. Or address my issue. I have contacted store, district and corporate. Home Depot. has installed a horrible tile job, damaged my house and I can't get a call back. 11/10 Follow up, still have problems that have never been addressed, we can not even get a call back. I can not believe they trashed my bathrooms, door frames and carpet and I can not get a phone call. We hired Home Depot to install tile floors in both bathrooms. We should have known better after they did the estimate wrong and had to remeasure 3times. The installer was nice but the quality of work was unacceptable. It started with one of the tile installers not showing up, a 2 day install took 3days. I work out of town, when I got home I had the following issues; my carpet and wood floor had thin set tracked on a path from the garage to both bathrooms, my toilet was leaking and damaged the ceiling below, tile was set with a 1/4 variance in height leaving un even floors, grout was missing is several areas, the transition areas where the carpet meets the tile is uneven and ragged, and the unused material was missing. I called the store and asked the installer to come out last Monday the 4/4/16 at 10:30, I realized by noon I was on my own and started the repairs on my own. I had to get a larger wax ring and re set the toilets and replace the supply hose, paint the ceiling in the kitchen to hide the water spot, re grout the missing areas. (When I finished I found a few areas that the grout is crumbling, not sure what I'm going to do about that) then I worked until 1:00am on the 5th shampooing the carpet and cleaning today wood floors. I have to get up at 4:30 am to drive to work in Chicago area to work, so no sleep for me on Monday night. I then get an email asking to let them know what issues I had so we could schedule a service call? I called and spoke to the store rep 2 times explaining the issue and drove over to the store to meet in person. I sent an email message back explaining the issues I had with the store installation, and a request for a partial refund as I spent considerable time fixing the installed tile and plumbing when the installer blew off Monday's appointment. We also had 45 square feet of tile sent to do the tub area with the delivered order, we had already purchased the same material and took it home, the extra tile is gone, no explanation, no refund . I feel like I paid a premium for very poor service, had material missing that I intended to return and was left holding the bag to finish the job myself. I have spent Tens of thousands dollars at Home Depot while building and maintaining my house over the last 18 years, if the do not resolve this issue to my satisfaction this will be the last money spent at any Home Depot. I am still waiting for a response to my last email. Not a happy camper with the Greenwood Indiana store!
