My insurance agent retired so my policy went to Mark Mercer. I sold a commercial building on March 18th. It was a nightmare getting my refund on that policy. It took 2 and a half MONTHS to get my refund check. Mark ended up sending my check TO THE BUILDING I SOLD! That is terrible! When I emailed Mark directly about this situation I asked him to respond to me himself. He would not do it! I do not want to do business with an agent who won't even directly speak to me nor do I want to trust my home/auto/camper/motorcycle to an agent who cannot even properly send me a check for $179. Then I emailed him again with my grievances and I never heard another word from him. He just chose not to respond to me at all. THIS IS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Well I’ve been with Allstate for the past three years. They have put up with me quite a bit these last several months and I am very impressed I’ve never experienced the things that I’ve been helping but they’re just been wonderful and kind in before that they were professional responsive you can always get in touch with somebody if you need help. And you get to know everybody on a first basis. They offer all kinds of different insurance even financial..I also want to say after reading other peoples reviews, That that is one thing I have never spoken to Mercer he’s never reached out and it’s unusual for an agent I’ve always known my head guy department or whatever you want to call me….But the girls in his office do just fine and I’m sure that they talked amongst each other if there’s an issue.Also they have lowered my rates tremendously I’m really impressed with them I’ve never had an insurance agent drop my rates as much as they have in this past year!..Thank you!

Given one star because cannot give less than that. Mercer has been my insurance agent going on 4 years and every time I ask to speak with him I am told he does not speak with customers, he has agents to handle that. I was just informed that one of my policies was written incorrectly and it was going to cost me more money because of their mistake. Mercer still will not speak to me. Would not recommend this agent to anyone.
