This place is amazing!! My husband and I are low-income and disabled, this pantry is so helpful!! I have made many tasty meals using goods we’ve received. Thank you Hancock County Food Pantry :)

The Hancock Food Pantry is the absolute best food pantry in this area. I have never seen any of the food out dated or bad in anyway. The people that run the pantry are smiling and helpful. I always leave there thinking there is hope for America yet.

I received your letter concerning my recent visit to receive food and it is very alarming to me. I told her what county I lived in and my name because I am registered to receive food which is under my ex-husband's name for some odd reason. The reason I am in your database is because I work there as a volunteer and have for years. I come there for food to either reward myself for ALL my work in the Kingdom of God or serve others as a tool for an opportunity to share the gospel for salvation. I told her I lived in Shelby County. If you didn't serve me because of my county, then why am I registered in your data base?I really appreciate the food that was given to me and all the hard work everyone does for the community through this service. It seems that there is no end to the calamity among these followers that continue to add laws that keep people from being rewarded, whether it be through policy or rules. Consider the hard work we endure for the Kingdom rather than considering it a crime when we take it upon ourselves to reward once and awhile, even when we give to others our time without pay. I have worked in the Kingdom of God for almost 19 years without pay, I think a reward of food since I volunteer there would be sufficient for my time.Let us go back to the beginning to the Hour When we first believed and put people/workers over policy and reward our own when we labor in the fields as laborers for Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.God Bless you all.

I can honestly say very kind down to earth people. I've had my ups n down and I had to humble myself down and ask for help for the first time in a long time. That alone was a blessing and I greatly appreciated the assistance that the county had to offer when needed. God bless you all for your time and effort when needed. God is good. Amen.

I've always been welcomed with open arms and smiling faces. With the Hancock County Food Pantry I've never gone hungry. God Bless the volunteers who work hard to feed the Hancock County Hoosiers in need...?

This is a wonderful place and the people are amazing! Hancock County is hands down the best place for giving back to people in need. They have this food pantry which is INCREDIBLE and a soup kitchen and homeless shelter. All 3 are hands down the best ever.

So we've been helped alot from the food pantry and hadn't had a lot of issues but I just had to say this but why is it we keep getting rotten food like the produce and frozen foods I understand that it's all food that's been donated but it's so bad some times that all we could eat is the 10 cans of vegetables and fruit because of the rotten food the people are very nice and helpful but need to pay closer attention to the food because it could deadly especially like like meats being rotten.

Well this is never happened before but I went to the food pantry at 7 tonight and sat there with a couple other cars and waited and called a friend of mine that knows a lot of people and ask her what was going on because nobody was there there was no sign saying they were closed I called the phone number and it never said anything about being closed today that my friend found out because due to the weather it was closed today cuz we're supposed to have a bad storm. I understand that what I don't understand is why there was no way anybody could know that it was closed there was no sign anywhere there was no message anywhere. I think in the future maybe they should put a a sign outside saying they're closed for that day or something on their phone a message there people know what's going on. Other than that I'm always pleased when I come up there to get stuff to eat because they give a lot of stuff and it's good stuff it's not junk and I really really appreciate it it helps out. And I thank you all for that I really do I just thought I'd let you know about this issue maybe if you're not going to be open you should figure out a way to let the public know that that's all thank you
