Our cat was recommended Profender (an Elanco product). Our young cat had terrible symptoms from it, and please wish others do not use this product. Elanco then emailed asking me to call into 1800 support during my work hours. Please avoid this company.

Very disappointed in the fact I cannot find a full list of ingredients for any of the flea and tick meds that are created by Elanco. I have looked all over the internet as well as Elanco and Advantage websites. This is highly concerning since it only shows the two active ingredients. What are we putting on our animal babies?! And people wonder why our fur babies are getting sick or having seizures.

I have been waiting almost 3 months for a rebate that was promised in 3 to 4 weeks. Have called numerous times and they are no help. My rebate has been saying in process since 3/17. The first one came in right away, but was only for $20. I bought a 90 day supply the second time and I guess because it's more they don't want to send it out. Their rebate amounts are sketchy because everything you see has one amount and doesn't say anything about a tiered amount and then you have to click on a link to get to the tiers. This should be up front, not where you have to look for something that you don't even know is there. I agree if they can't get their act together just give the discount when you purchase it.

Elanco has the most useless website! Not user friendly for rebates! Why make me turn in a rebate every month with your junky website. Just charge less for Galliprant!!!!!

Our poor Boston Terrier had a terrible reaction to the Elanco Lepto and Lyme vaccine booster. He had a patch as big as my palm that was severely swollen. Our vet took some cells and determined that it was a horrible reaction to the vaccine. He was given anti-inflammatory meds, and the swelling went down. The vet told us that he was beginning to lose hair in that spot. Well, for the next two weeks, the hair didn't stop coming out. The vet said that in many cases the hair will not grow back. This has been a terrible experience. Six weeks after the shot, this is how it looks. If you don't absolutely have to get this vaccine, really consider the pros and cons and speak with your vet about possible adverse reactions.

Vet recommend Elanco medicine Galliprant for our old dog. Her gut got more and more sickly sounding while taking it. We thought she could have gut cancer. Got to the point she vomited with dry heaves in distress after taking galliprant. We finally realized it could be the galliprant and stopped it immediately. Within 3 days of stopping galliprant, her system stopped being upset. Vet had prescription filled at Costco pharmacy, that it was less expensive there. Still $125.99. Costco would not refund and recommended speaking with manufacturer. Elanco would not provide a refund either.

Elanco likes to change their rules on rebates half way through the promotional period. I have been sending rebates for the product called Atopica. Last year the promotion was purchase 2 boxes of 15 100 mg capsules and Elanco sends you $80.00 as the rebate. My cost last year was $4,834.00, I sent in and they paid 30 claims at $2,160.00. I have two German Shepherds that take two capsules each every day. That will be 98 boxes at the cost of $7,056.00 or 49 claims for this year (2018). Elanco changed the rebate promotion this year to the purchase of 2 boxes of 15 100 mg capsules and Elanco sends you $60.00 as the rebate. My resent submissions have been denied for their reason that each household is only allowed 20 submissions. I challenged them to where that is stated anywhere on the rebate form or their terms and conditions. Their response was it is not stated anywhere and that I’ve already received my 20 rebates. When I called to request an explanation I was transferred to one person to another, to another, more than three and got the same answer from all. I believe Elanco’s business practices are questionable. I have depended on this medication to keep my pets healthy, however now I’m working with my vet to find an alterative treatment.

I have just tried, yet again, to give all three of my dogs 'Interceptor Plus'. To say that is is not palatable, would be putting it mildly.
A rather expensive drug, which I'm sure could do better.
The dogs I have are a UK black lab', which will hoover up anything. Then a Great Pyrenees and a Pyrenees cross, both of whom will eat food if it's not nailed down.
