If I could be reviewing the bank as a whole instead of the individual branch I would be - this is by far the worst bank - no sorry, the worst business I have ever had the misfortune to come across. My family had been banking with Wells Fargo for years (ever since they were Norwest bank so 30+ years) and then this joke of a company took over and our ability to do anything with our accounts disappeared. I have been living overseas for years and unable to start at a different bank without an address in the states and it has made my banking life a misery. The app is unusable and even the website is not user friendly at all - it looks and functions like it was designed by a drunk toddler. It is impossible to log in or transfer money. At the time I'm writing this review, I have 29 days until I move back to the US (yes, I'm counting the days) and am able to liberate myself from this scam of a company. DO NOT BANK WITH THEM. But if you're willing to take the risk:If you want your accounts to be hidden from view on the website so that it looks like your savings have disappeared, then this is the bank for you.If you want to spend at least 45 minutes on the phone trying to get through to customer service, then this is the bank for you.If you want it to be incredibly difficult to log in to your account, then this is the bank for you.If you want to never be able to transfer most externally or even through use of a 3rd party app, then this is the bank for you.Here is a haiku I wrote to summarise my time as a Flagstar customer:Don't give them moneyYou'll never see it againI should have picked ChaseSincerely,IlseEdit for Flagstar comment:I don't need an apology, I need the bank to release my money. If someone wants to leave your institution I cannot imagine how it is legal for a bank to say that money can't be withdrawn - this is MY money that the bank is keeping hostage and earning interest off of. One family member has already tried to file a complaint and gotten a rude and unhelpful answer back, so the BBB is the next step since complaints are being brushed aside and I strongly urge anyone else here who has had similar problems to do the same. This bank is NOT BBB accredited.

Only gave the 1 star just so I could give this review....Worst customer service I've had ever...so far during transition I have lost money,funds are taken out put back in taken out then balances are different fees given then fee waivers then fees again!!! I made a deposit 2 days ago before 10:00pm and funds not available yesterday I called spoke with lady she tells me no hold on it but I don't get my funds until today this morning is exactly what she said well it's now 10:40am an still available balance is $1.40!!! Worst banking experience I am closing my account as soon as I get my money out of there!

WOW this is the worst banking acquisition ever! Shame on Wellsfargo and Flagstar, being a small business owner and not having access to your business accounts for over a week is Shameful!!!! Can not pay employees or pay bills.........

The first Friday after the transition and all the computers are down. Banking staff's smiles have disappeared after telling a lot of unhappy customers they can not access their own funds. We are considering moving our account to another institution.

The first day as a Flagstar customer and they are not even up and running. They changed from Wells Fargo and what a mess. I don't even know if my transactions are being taken care of. Their system is down until Tuesday the 4th. This is not a good start at all.
