Stopped in looking for something specific, they didn't have it but offered to order for me for free! The ladies working were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the item I was wanting to buy. I've been in before looking for work clothes and they have always been so helpful and offered help. Would recommend if your looking for good quality clothes that are timeless.

I never write negative reviews but I have been in this store 3 times now (I was shopping for my mother in law for Mother’s Day) the service was the only complaint I have. Each time it felt like I was Julia Roberts In Pretty woman, they were rude to my 3 year old and myself and followed me around but did not help me. I thought maybe it was just an off day, unfortunately the two following times were just the same. Never got my mother in law anything and will not be going back after the customer service/ treatment I received.

Bad store needs to be shut down there rude and bad employees!!! Bad experience when going there and definitely going to talk to corporate this place is a joke!!!

We live in Michigan and went to the mall in Mishawaka to find my daughter an interview suit. The mall stores including large anchor stores had NOTHING!!! Saw Talbots on the way to the mall and circled back to shop there. When the saleswoman asked if we needed help (the first all day) I desperately replied “yes!” She was WONDERFUL! She immediately showed us very appropriate blazers and quickly assessed my daughter as a petite. Only shopping in juniors sections, my daughter had not realized she could get clothes for her body type and was overjoyed. We found a blazer then were shown pants with several options. Again, a great experience having options for size and style. I do wish I asked the saleswoman’s name. She made both mother and daughter feel comfortable after a very frustrating day. My daughter feels confident in her suit and this will make at least one anxiety about interviewing go away.

Clothes are well made but I mostly buy cotton tees. Last batch of tees I bought shrunk 2 inches in length after delicate cycle wash and low heat tumble dry. The one-star review is for the Mishawaka store. I have shopped here several times over the years. The store is rarely stocked with all styles, and is generally missing many colors with limited plus size availability. I went to the store Saturday before Memorial Day to exchange some online purchases. The 2 associates never acknowledged me. I even walked right past them to get to the fitting rooms. They kept their backs to the rest of the store the entire time. Another customer walked in as I was leaving. I ran into her 2 minutes after I walked into J. Jill. It's just a guess but I suspect she also couldn't receive any help so she decided to shop elsewhere. After washing and drying my J. Jill cotton tees, I am converted. Better store selection, better color selection, better customer service, and the tees didn't shrink. I probably will buy suits online at Talbot's but that's it. I can find everything else better at other stores.

I have found the ladies at this store to be lovely and helpful. I have never had a problem returning Items. They have helped me to find clothes that are flattering when I struggled. Highly recommend this store.

I recently changed careers and needed a wardrobe update. I shopped both in store and online and had a very positive experience. I was able to get all the foundation pieces I needed. In store the associates were very helpful. The online store was easy to navigate and shipping was easy to track.

It's Talbots.. Quality is good if a bit pricey. Styles are conservative. Pleasant with good service.

Agee with the other reviews here. I get treated like a criminal if I try to return anything. I like the clothes at Talbots but the rudeness of the staff keeps me away.
