Tried to cash a 10k check. Was told they had to order the money and that would take 5 days!!! Then after she said she would order it she said since I did not have an account there is a 2% check cashing fee!!! PNC wanted 200$ for cashing a check drawn on THIER own bank after a FIVE day hold!!! ? ?️

A bank associate at this branch gave a debit card and full access to my wallet accounts to another random customer on 4/14/23, and blocked my access. Sandy, did not check ID, SS#, phone number, DOB, account #'s, email addresses, middle names or any other of the usual and mandatory security checks. First and last name were the same and that was good enough for her. It took almost a whole day to straighten this out and I will have to update ALL of my online accounts now, not to mention fees if I accidently forget one or two. If you have ever had to do this, you know what I mean. It is hard enough to protect one's identity without bank employees giving it away. I will be leaving PNC, and I suggest that anyone who doesn't want their account given away to do the same.Thanks to Michael and Freddy at Elkhart branch for helping me regain my access.

I have been with PNC Bank for 10 years. All of a sudden they want to lower my credit card limit which caused my credit score to drop. Even though I always pay my payments on time. This is one of the worst banks to do business with. Will be closing out my cards with them and take my business elsewhere.

My best Banking experience. I took my Mom to get some banking. We needed special attention so they got us in without an appointment. There were issues, they called for support and took great care of us. All with smiles and attention. Thanks for the help. John and Loretta

Open up an hour later because of covid?? How is that helpful to your customers? There are 12 cars in line and we have been waiting 20 minutes so far. Still have 2 cars in front of us. What a joke.

PNC rates low on customer service. Tried to revise my PNC joint checking account into a revocable trust. Legal dept said I couldn't do it, even if the joint signer removed itself. So I have to open a new account, which means costs, new checks, changing direct deposits, etc. Two other local financial institutions easily made this change in identical circumstances. PNC's reason was that my joint acct person (my son, a CPA as am I) would know my account number unless I open a new account--uh, doesn't anyone I pay with a check see the number?

I recently came to this bank to cash a check that came from their bank and they wanted to charge me a arm and a leg for something that came from them. Then they had to call and make sure it was real and told me they couldn't get ahold of anyone and couldn't cash it... I took it to my bank and they cashed it right away. I didn't take it to my bank at first because I thought there was going to be a hold on it. So just to give people a heads up, use your own bank. This one likes to take your money. Your better off going to your own bank if you receive a check from someone that uses this bank.
