This is a nice gas station. It would be great if they kept the pumps full of paper for the receipt to print.

Came in today 6-7 at 10:15am. You need to fire everyone working. All 3 people are just on the phone and acting like it's a huge inconvenience that I am buying chicken and drinks. Basic training to your employees. Greet a customer and thank them for coming in. It goes a long way these days.

Likely owners were working, they weren't even the slightest bit friendly. The 8 pc chicken tenders were dry, old and barely warm, cost $12.99. Worst $13 I've spent.

Early to mid evening I stopped for coffee. They had two large dispensers, both French vanilla. I told clerk I only drink REGULAR and asked if he was making more REGULAR, as I was tired from driving, and he said "No", without any explanation. Every other gas station I've gone to happily puts on a fresh pot for customers, and always keeps some regular available, esp. at that during the evening. (It appeared that they had a decent setup capable of making good coffee).

Nice newish Marathon gas station on the outskirts of Granger, Indiana...very close to South Bend, Mishawaka, and Notre Dame. The gas prices are typical for the area, and the attached convenience store (Hazens One-Stop) is nice and clean. It has most of the usual impulse items people seek in addition to gas - such as cigarettes, candy, Lotto tickets, pop, snacks, and the like. Very handy. Inside the store there is a Subway outlet, so you can get a quick sandwich...and one that is generally much fresher than the fast-food I've-been-heated-all-day hotdog. A Subway inside the gas station store is a nifty idea. Also attached and on the other side of the building is a real sit-down Italian restaurant - Giannettos. Known for its take out pizza, the restaurant also has a dozen or so tables and a more extensive menu. So you can stop by and fill up your tank and get a pizza to go...very convenient. While this line up of gas, Subway, and pizza may seem incongruous, they make it work. Since this area, in general, and this corner (Cleveland and Capitol), in particular, have not yet been fully developed, these stores are ahead of the curve and ready and waiting for customers. This location is primo as they are within one mile of an entrance/exit (#83) to the Indiana tollway. Come give it a try.
