September 2021 by Jacelyn P.
I went to Walmart Tire & Lube on September 19th, 2021 to get my oil changed & possibly get my tired patched. As I went inside to tell the front desk man (his name is Tim) what I needed done, he assured me that I may choose from any oil type from standard all the way to full synthetic. I chose standard. As I was shopping around Walmart with my 2 children, waiting for my car to maintained, a worked from the tire & lube department found me and said "I know you chose standard, but we actually can only do full synthetic, is that okay?" I obliged. I went on shopping for another 40ish minutes, I finally got a text saying that my car was ready. I went to the front counter to check out. The man that was at the front desk was VERY unprofessional (this was NOT Tim, I didn't catch this mans name). He first started by asking me why I don't just have my husband change my oil for me. Then he asked me for my phone number and told me that he could do it on the side for me instead. He THEN proceeded to make fun of my vehicle because I had a ding in the back. He followed that up by asking me if he could take my 8 month old son home with him ... all of which was making me VERY uncomfortable. He finally got to the point after me repeatedly asking him if my car was ready and could I just pay and be on my way. He said "they actually put the wrong oil in your car. it's not ready yet. we have to redo everything. they're in the middle of draining the oil from your car and starting over." I was annoyed at this point, but I just went on my way. Continuing to walk around the store with my 2 children. Finally I got another text saying my vehicle was ready. Making this almost 2 hours that I've been there walking around. They explained to me that they couldn't fix my tire because of the location of the issue (which is fine). They were trying to explain to what happened with the oil situation but it seemed like all three men standing there had no idea what they were talking about or what had really happened. I decide I'm just going to leave and be on my way. After paying, the worked that was telling me all those uncomfortable things followed me out to my car to try to get my number and "help me put my belongings in my vehicle". It was all very strange and made me feel really uneasy. After getting my car and driving off I notice an oil can in on my passenger side floor board.. on top of my children's belongings. There was oil in fb on my passenger seat. I get home and check my oil levels. It was ONLY HALF FULL. And there was oil everywhere under my hood. To say I am DISPLEASED & DISSATISFIED is an understatement!!!

You see this line ? It's 10 people deep as are the other 3 lines including the self checkout which has about 15 people waiting. Why you asked well because Walmart cares ! I'm being sarcastic they don't give a crap which is also why it's almost 80 degrees in here . I hate you Walmart, I really do . And to be honest I would prefer you raise the price on items then hire more cashiers rather than having me wait in line for over 20 minutes as I did today! BS ! 4 employees serving over 40+ customers! Seriously!

We have had enough of this poorly managed store! Saturday morning 9 am and you only have ONE register open other than self checkouts. 6 big carts full ahead of us in line and we chose to do self checkouts because of having ice cream in our cart. We spent 230 and had to bag our own at a self checkout! Management at this store should be fired and replaced! We average 150 a week at this store and today was pathetic!!! Watching Walmart employees stand around doing nothing while we scan and bag our own.

Walmart is a great store that always has good stuff for good prices! This Walmart in particular is a little less then average, parking isn't great and it could use some renovations all though they have been updating and changing things out. Overall still a very useful store that I like to use.

weird wal mart, the customers were nice....but you can tell you're not "welcome" if you're not from goshen, i was being stared at like i was an alien.....maybe it had something to do with it being a small town? and i had the rudest cashier in the history of the world.

Poor parking conditions, hard to get around in the store (aisles are very tight), dirty, bad selection, customer service not so good (there are some good employees there), wait times in checkout lines can be insane (especially when there are other lanes available, just nobody at the registers). Just to name a few reasons to avoid this establishment. I've been to good Wal-Marts. This is not one of them....

I hate this Wal-Mart. I know, Wal-Mart is the devil any-way, but honestly sometimes it's the only place to get what you need. BUT, this Wal-Mart is a massive headache. One of the great things about chain stores is they're all mostly the same, but this Wal-Mart wants to be inconvenient, er, unique. There's no knowing where the item you want will be located. The employees are always unhelpful, typically un-knowledgeable and often rude. The selection is pathetic. Especially in the make-up section. The bathrooms are grotesque. Don't buy a bike there. A friend of mine bought two bikes there and both broke the first time she road them.
