Martin's Super Market, founded in 1947 in South Bend, Indiana, has expanded to 21 locations across Indiana and Michigan. Shoppers enjoy a serene experience in a conveniently sized store that is accessible by walking and biking. The supermarket offers fresh snacks, like doughnuts, and is recognized for its friendly atmosphere. However, some customers feel that prices, particularly for the salad bar, are higher than other supermarkets, partly due to its proximity to Notre Dame. Despite the pricing concerns, many appreciate the store's community connection and the overall shopping experience it provides.
This is the little mini store that serves many of us in our retirement community. The prices might be higher than some places and smaller stock available but we can pop in and grab ehat we need and lots of people walk or ride their scooters in nicer weather. Its hometown. The staff is awesome.

Their prices are higher than a lot of other super markets. The price of their salad bar is ridiculously high. I would buy their salad if it wasn't so expensive.
