Purchased a fridge on 11-26. Choose a delivery because I wasn't sure I could help get it in the house. The very next day my husband said him and his son could go get it. I called the store and they said great we'll put your name on it. They go there, get it on the trailer and have it strapped down and the manager says we can't take it because there is a p.o. number on it. I called the next day and they said they we're "updating the computer to take the p.o. off" Well 3 days later I go in and they say "nope you have to wait till your delivery date" If you have them in stock then why tf can't we get it now? They just lost a customer for life and I will continue to let everyone know on my social media platforms of what they are doing!!!!

We had flooring installed and have had nothing but problems for over a month. The problems started when the delivery people didn't even bring the whole order into the house and failed to properly stack the wood for seasoning. Then, after that delay, the installers were excessively rough and loud during the installation, leaving scratches on our newly painted walls. They didn't correct or apologize for this situation. The floors then separated, leaving a large gap between the hallway and the bedroom. After many calls, the installer finally came and looked at it and stated that they would need to reboard the room. After many more phone calls, they are claiming that the flooring company Cali Bamboo has to come out an oversee the work. Then, we hear nothing again. We have called Lowe's multiple times to try to get this situation corrected. The installation company is "Installation Services" according to the manager at Lowe's. Basically, we've been scammed and are now proceeding to file a charge back for the installation and filing a report with the BBB. I recommend taking your business far far away so that you aren't dealing with incompetent installers and shady sales people.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!. I purchased a refrigerator on 5/18. Of course it wasn't in stock but was told it was a local warehouse and the soonest they could deliver was 5/29. I pointed out this was a holiday weekend but was told that didn't matter and was reassured they would deliver that day. I had a camping trip planned but cancelled as I was desperate to have a working refrigerator. 29tharrives and I am sitting home waiting and waiting with no refrigerator and no phone call. I called the store only to be told very unapologetically that they didn't even have the refrigerator there to deliver. Person on the phone had no answers and it was very obvious I was bothering her with my frustration. Next working day I called and spoke with the General Manager Josh who was concerned and apologetic. Josh refunded $200.00 and it was scheduled to deliver on 6/2. Received a text that they were 14 minutes out so I began emptying the freezer and getting ready for them to arrive. Truck pulls up in front of my house, never gets out of the truck. Sits there for about 5 minutes, then pulled down the road a few house. Sits there for 5 minutes, then drives off. I called the store. Phone rang for 5 minutes before being answered. I ask for the general manager Josh. I was sent to another line where to phone literally rang for 10 minutes before being answered. I was not hanging up for anything. The person that answered the phone said Josh was off today. I then asked why the sent me to this line for 10 minutes to get Josh when he wasn't even there. I was told they were going to try to contact the delivery dispatch to see if they could get the driver to turn around. I told this person they had an hour then I was coming in and getting my money back and will never shop at Lowes again. Waited an hour and a half, nothing. Went and got my money back. If this is how lowes values me as a customer spending over $2000 in there store, I will be an absolute fool to given them another dime of my money.

We bought a refrigerator in May that was delivered and installed a week later. The man who installed it, busted a piece that connects the water hose to the refrigerator. He took a picture of the broken piece and told us Lowes would be calling to replace the piece. We received no call. On Saturday I called Lowes and explained the situation. The man told me to being the piece in and they would take care of it. I took it in that same day. They directed me to the expert working in plumbing. He told me he was an electrical expert and hated plumbing. He then gave me a piece that looked like the piece i needed but when i got home it did not fit. They also made me pay for the piece because the guy who installed it did not report the damage. It was only about $6 but it's the principle. I am 30 minutes from this store so i was not driving back there. I went to my two local hardware stores on Sunday and they did not have the piece I needed. The one woman who helped me told me the guy at Lowes gave me a pipe adaptor and not a compression adaptor. (So he didnt even give me the right piece). On Tuesday we drove to Menards and they also did not have the right piece. Today I called Lowes again and they directed me to appliances. The man on the phone told me I would need to talk to the parts department which was a different company but still Lowes. I had to call another number. The lady who answered my call was rude. I told her what happened and what I needed. She told me LG parts are on back order and that it would cost me $13+. I told her it was broken during their persons delivery and that I wasnt paying for it. She told me she doesnt handle that and that I would need to contact lowes customer service. I asked her when they expected the part to be in and she told me there was no ETA and then told me to have a good night. (I work in customer service. I stayed calm and was polite and respectful. She was not). After this ridiculous run around from Lowes, I called LG customer service. They were wonderful. They are shipping my part at no charge. I'm just hoping it is the right piece.

Bought a refrigerator January 9th with delivery scheduled for the 18th. I was told they would call the day prior to confirm and then the day of they give a two hour time frame. I took the day off work to be home, and sat here ALL day. They didn't call the night prior, didn't call the day of either. My email receipt of purchase said delivery from 8am-12pm ...... so I called the store at 12pm to check in, and the lady said it was on the truck and would be there in the "afternoon"..... so I waited and nothing. Called the store at 6:30pm and a different associate said that they could be delivering up until 8pm, but she would switch computers and return my call when she confirmed ..... NO call back and no show by delivery people. A wasted vacation day, no communication and no refrigerator that we paid for 10 days ago. The WORST customer service anywhere, I will NEVER shop Lowe's again.

During the past few weeks of COVID-19 the checkout line has been horrible. Long waits. Why one or two lanes open? Cashiers are nice but obviously a bit overwhelmed. This is the scene visit after visit. How come Menard's can get this right?

RANT AHEAD: LOWE'S SUCK A week ago we ordered a microwave for my Mother. Older people use Microwave ovens 24/7. I tried Mom and Pop stores. No-one wanted to help us because as always it's he Covid-19. I have noticed they blame it alot on this . So, we went to Lowe's. She put down all the money they said they would get hold of her It's been a friggin week I finally endured the wait time on the phone, plus transfers, plus hang-ups. Asked for the Manager and she transferred me to the delivery dept. which is not connected to LOWE"S. A very nice man answered and said this should not have happened. No shit, so come to find out her tele# was put in wrong But, wait til you hear this. " it was in stock the whole time, should have been installed by now". No more Lowe's. They are on my SHIT list

I purchased a vinyl chain linked fence from the Lowe's store in Goshen: * It took almost two months to get an install date * The Lowe's store confirmed a delivery date to deliver the material, but they were a no show and no call * The following day, they showed up. But didn't have all of the hardware needed for the job * Then the installer was a day later than promised (To dig the holes) * Then, when he was to come back and finish the job, he was a no show and no call * His excuse was, "I was running behind dude". (I had arranged a 1/2 day vacation day so I could be there when finished) * Finally the fence was complete....but the gates were too tight and very hard to open and close. (I had to adjust them) * Lastly, three skids were left in my yard. Along with 12 bags of cement and a 20' pole. Nothing was communicated to me, why, or when they would be removed * I had to call the store to arrange the pick up * The excess material was not picked up on the day they promised....another no show and no call. When I called them to complain, they gave me a new pick up date of June 4th or 5th. That's 1 1/2 weeks after the fence was installed!! Thank God for Menards!

We purchased a Microwave on October 1 to replace one that "died"- it was indicated that we would be quickly contacted for its installation (we brought the Microwave home with us); Tuesday a.m. I had not heard anything - called the number on the paperwork. The lady said that the Installer had 48 hours from Monday to contact us. By Wednesday afternoon - "Nothing" - so I again called; this lady said that she would contact the Installer and that I would be called - Nothing once again. Called late morning today; lady contacted the Installer and she was told that "they would get the paperwork together and call me". NOTHING once again, called one more time - this time the lady connected me with the A1-Plumbing Company from Michigan who was to do the job. A1 informed me that they could not install the unit until October 16! Had I known there would be such a long delay - and us without a Microwave - I would have gotten a local person to do the installation, and I would have had a working Microwave by this time. POOR, POOR communication. On the bright side, the Sales people at the store were helpful, as were the folks from the LOWE's "boiler room" - which may be in the USA as the people did sound like English was their first language - that was nice.

I like Lowe's as a company but I will no longer shop in this store. If I find a large item (such as an appliance) that I want from Lowe's I order it on-line from the Elkhart store. The men who work in the Goshen store hate women. They're bitter and angry that women use their tools, etc. Period. Good-ol'-boys-club-mentality??? When my husband was physically able he did the repairs and shopped there without problems. The women are friendly and helpful and I hope their male co-workers don't treat them the way they treat female customers. If you're female, don't even ask where something is located or if it's the right product for the job. For example, I asked for a certain size drill bit to drill concrete. He asked what size shank. I said it's for a regular drill. He got angry and stormed off muttering 'how am I supposed to help you if you don't even know what you want?!!!?' Another time I asked for a part for the just-out-of-warranty water heater I'd purchased from them by part number and description. He acted like he didn't know what I was referring to. I didn't know it at the time but Lowe's had been involved in a law suit for this product and this jerk HAD to know what I wanted. I found it myself on the shelf. Another time I was purchasing treated lumber. A young employee said 'here are some slightly damaged ones I'll discount for you to get rid of them if you don't mind those. I said fine, I only needed a few feet of the length anyway. So I proceed to the checkout and the cashier called a manager and he ripped me apart in front of the other customers for 'asking for a discount' and trying to get the cashier to sell them to me cheaper than the retail price. I told him I didn't ask for it, it was volunteered by his employee, he should HIM about it. He refused, said his employees don't do that. I could have died and crawled under the floor. I could go on and on. Menards will bend over backwards to help you find something or explain how to do it.
