Stopped in to open an account for a new international student at the local college. The person we were referred to did not want to talk because they were closing in 20 minutes. Then she gave wrong information about what was needed to open an account. We subsequently went to a Chase branch in Mishawaka and found an extremely helpful employee who helped open an account and provided correct info. As far as the branch in Goshen, it was like they did not want our business and tried to push us away. Not at all impressive.

Very bad service, the staff is very inattentive, for anything or question you have to have an appointment. So what's the point of going to the branch and having the staff there if there is no willingness to help?
Furthermore, it has happened to me on several occasions that when they see that you are Hispanic they make a big difference (racist) in the treatment they give you.

My minor aged daughter went missing in Goshen for a couple of days (she is home now safely). While canvassing the downtown area handing out "missing" flyers, we went to this branch asking to at at least share among the staff. The teller was courteous but needed to check with the manager. The manager was very rude and lacked any empathy in regard to the situation. If it had been a matter of company policy and he had been polite while saying no, then I would not be writing this right now. However, to lack any kind of empathy and understanding for a horrifying situation regarding children and parents who are doing everything they can to find them when saying no is unrespectable and dispicable. If you have any value in doing business with places that show understanding and empathy towards the community it serves, then I would avoid this bank at all costs. As for me... they will NEVER see a dime of my money in their ledger. Interestingly enough, this was also the ONLY business in Goshen out over 100 that refused a flyer.

Super great staff. Always willing to help where they can. It can be hard to get through the automated phone system to a real person, but works every time.

Call 3 different Chase locations and no one answered the he phone or offered to call me back. Always referred to online banking. Trying to get auto loan to pay off a leased car but unable to do so online application.

No one ever answers the phone. I literally had to call the town next to mine to be able to order checks. Can barely get to ATM on Sundays because of church patrons next door who park in bank lot and makes it inconvenient to get to atm.

4 to 5 people in the bank Nobody answers the phone, late deposits to be paid.

I normally love my Chase Bank but the last two weeks is pretty frustrating. The Chase app forced me to do an update and it won't update now I'm late and paying my bills and every time I try to call the bank it says they're busy helping other customers and I don't get an answer or help. I'm at a loss for what to do but I need to be able to pay my bills so I'm getting panicky
