Great place to shop, management is awesome and prices are great. I paid for soda twice and manager refunded me.

really wish they would create a zero star button because 1 star isn't even fair. I quit my job of 2+ years as a SM for Dollar General 16 mins after the store had opened. why? I got into an argument with management about how I could not morally sell FOOD that had completely thawed (freezers temp was at 60+ when I caught it) and refroze sometime over night to customers. I tried to contact the HD, left a voicemail.. so I took to social media to warn my town and surrounding residents of the potential danger TWO SMs and a DM were fine with. The HD caught wind of the post and contacted me. (thank you internet magic!) I told them what had went on, they called the store and the FTL that was with me when this happened lied and said the food was still frozen it was just squishy in the middle and the ASM said that it's normal for our freezers to say that because they go through a defrost cycle. There is 3 more freezer units... I've never seen them go above the negatives.. please just watch your food guys. If 3 individuals of Dollar Generals management team is okay with it I'm sure there is more than just that. Several other things I could say about Dollar General but I wanted the public to know what they are okay with.

Kentland Indiana Dollar General is so bad. You can't go nowhere in that store without having something in your way. One of the workers Abby Woods is to busy going out front of the store to smoke. Abby can get anything done cuz she is to busy doing that. People coming in and out have to smell that cuz she is right by the door! I will never go in that one at all. I have talk to the DM to that store and the workers do what they went to. I had a cart full and walked out. I was done fighting to go get the stuff I wanted. This is throughout the store every day of the week. Something needs done!!! No stars

This store is actually pretty clean. It's brand new so of course it is. It's a little on the smaller side of stores I've seen. But over all this place is great. Staff is really friendly and helpful.
