A little story about our 24hrs in Georgetown, Indiana. Just before Exit 118 on I-64 eastbound, our truck engine started shaking, making noise, and flashing the check engine light. In tow was our house...a 26' Winnebago Minnie. We managed to get off the highway to the Marathon Station where a teenage boy directed us to Cook's. While understandably reluctant to take in a desperate customer at 2:30 in the afternoon, they said c'mon over. Reading the codes, we had a misfiring cylinder. They moved heaven and earth to replace the coil and plugs staying past closing time. But the cylinder continued to misfire. The problem had to be mechanical.
As I mentally processed what this was going to set me back, they assured me they would identify the problem the next morning. Meanwhile, we dropped our trailer in their parking lot for the night and they offered us (1) a ride to the grocery store, (2) a 20 amp circuit to power our RV, (3) water, (4) use of flush toilets, and (5) wifi. We took their recommendation and walked up the street to Polly's Freeze where we had a great dinner and ice cream from a classic roadside ice cream shop.
By 8:30 the next morning, these guys had identified the problem and had parts on order. I cannot say enough great things about this team and how they took care of us and took care of our truck. We were back on the road within 24 hrs from suffering a broken valve spring. I wish we had people and shops like this on the east coast. If passing by on I-64 again, we may stop in just to say hello and thank you again.

They misplaced the plastic cover on the 3.6 engine..Dodge charger. When asked about it they couldn't locate it. 2500.00 later and they don't put everything back where it goes. double check every inch of your car when you pick it up..take picsServices: Exhaust

My '97 Jeep Cherokee decided to pop a transmission pan seal, among other issues. I was driving from Kansas to Virginia, literally stick at the half--way point. These guys were quick, courteous, respectful and even worked on adding an lighting harness for my Uhaul to be towed by a secondary vehicle; on their day off!I cannot express enough how much these guys saved my day, and here's the extra awesome part...My wife and I tried to tip them... They refused it on the grounds that we already had enough on our plates and that we might meed every little bit.The world needs more excellent people like these folks!

Gary and his employees are not out to take your money. Gary will be honest about what's wrong with your vehicle. You can take it somewhere else or Just have him fix it. His charges are very reasonable. He's a great guy, with morals. I'll be back!
