I noticed the Speedway at 750 S. Lake St.in Gary is closed. Will it re open. If yes, I do hope that you will put some money in the station. It is disturbing that your corporate office does not feel the need to provide a decent gas station to the citizens of Gary.

Don't go here. Seriously, don't. I filled up on premium gas, and my car wouldn't start for 30 minutes. Never had that problem anywhere else.

The manger is highly rude and ghetto! Watch your debit cards because they will try to steal money off of it! Use cash only. The need corporate to come put them in line!

If I could use negative stars I would because it definitely doesn't deserve 1 star! Not only is this place closed all the time when it is open there's no one inside. Everyone they've hired has either quit or gotten fired for theft! The people that work there over charge for things, one day cigarettes went up $2.50 in an hour's time and when I sent someone else to get some they were $1.00 cheaper. The "new" manager takes all the outdated (stale and some had weevils inside) food and puts it back on the shelves and charges what she wants (never the same price twice) and puts that money in her pocket. I never realized how hard good, honest help is to come by. I don't know how they can be making enough money to keep the lights on. They really need to be more picky about who they choose to hire! Oh and Please Be Warned Do Not Use your debit/credit cards at the ATM or the Register! A couple months ago we had a lot of money stolen from our cards and found out it was stolen from there. We honestly already knew that because it was the Only place we visited that day but had it confirmed by the bank. A couple days ago a friend of ours got a large amount taken from his card and again that's the Only they had visited and today the bank confirmed what we already knew! I don't know if the workers are smart enough to steal in this way but I wouldn't put it past "management" and I say this because they were so worried about theft (ironically, don't want someone else stealing what you could be stealing I guess) in there, the cameras were reset and most likely set up and zoomed in to get numbers from the transactions, skimmers.

I'm sitting here at 10:44am and they are closed because the workers want to take a smoke break together. They were already smoking when I pulled up, then 15mins later they go inside and still have the doors locked. It's like this almost everyday. Like, if you don't like your job then quit. The store already close at 5pm. What's the point of opening up at all

This feels like one of Gary's forgotten Speedway locations. Too small and with a new train station being built nearby, I don't see this one belonging in the overall aesthetic, if that makes sense. Also has random hours, weird staff, and just not dependable overall. Definitely needs a makeover.

Very small and difficult to maneuver at this Speedway. Not updated at all. Staff is friendly.
