This is where we discovered our kitten, Mika. Everyone is really accommodating. When I was a pet parent, it was dogs. This kitten is very adorable; the folks who care for these adorable animals treat them like their own children. Donations of food and supplies will be made for the dogs and cats. Anyone could lend a hand to those people. Much obliged.

We're so happy with our little Marshmallow! Such a great place. They really love each and every one of those babies and make sure they get adopted into good homes.

The staff have always shown nothing, but compassion and care for all the poor animals who need help. Thank you for your continued love and compassion.

They have an amazing staff. Lot's of beautiful kittens, teenage and cats. So many different types and colors. The dog selection for the large breeds was a nice variety. The young lady who helped us was kind and knowledgeable (i believe her name was mary). We will be splitting our donations between here and Hobart.

I adopted a grey male cat named Mittens from here this last year. I kept meaning to give an update. He is Rocket now and quickly made our home his home. He is joy to have. This place was so helpful during a hard time after losing my cat Sir Biscuits. They even let my son play with puppies in the back for fun. It made his day. They seem to really love the animals that I saw. Thank you!

This review is conflicted. Adopted q pup a week or so ago. Why give a dog a label of pitt mix when u really dont know? Dont get me wrong I love the breed . The mother looked like a regular ol mixed breed medium size dog. The pup who is still very young slightly looks like a pitt. Admittedly they dont know who or what the father is. Im not even sure this pup is a pitt mix.

This is also a conflicted review Im not sure what to rate so I gave 2 stars . The staff seemed very caring and concerned about the animals there mostly cats. Si=aid it was cat season??? They seemed under staffed. The smell was horrible I adopted a mixed breed dog. I think they really just went by how he looks now ,not sure if he is a pit mix(no DNA test) as stated. HIs mother looks like any ol lil mixed breed dog obviously not a pit or pit mixed(got to see her). Do they need money? Admittedly they dont know what the father is . I also heard a lot of under chatter so to speak. The young male said, " What happens when she finds out ------."Then the front desk person said," She will love him by then." This is why I asked do they need donations? Please y'all give donations . I drove a long way to get this dog originally saw it on Adopt A Pet. Got 2 other rescues from this site. They turned out fine, especially the first one who was actually looked like a Staffordshire mix. After I got the first dog, so well mannered house broken and trained I decided then (after the second one)all rescues are most definitely not created equal. I suppose they need donations. I must say the second turned out to have more fur than expected Hmm in hind site kinda looks like a similar breed to the mother of the pup i just got. Had a few issues/concerns with the health of this pup the front desk person was very accommodating, but too far of a drive back for me . I did have to spend $75.00 plus to take to my vet. And will get set of third pup shots on Monday. Again out of my pocket I must say the rescues did offer but that means I have to drive so far back there. Any who the pup I got is a little wild and very smart, he is adjusting well. Already knows the routine and will alert me if he has to go outside. Who knows what he will look like.. Im sure like his mom any ol lil mixed breed dog. Suggestions: make sure your part of the paperwork is completely filled out with a health statement etc. and make sure the pup is not released until all shots are given . Maybe he shouldn't have been on the site without these things. Or at least reduce the price for the needed remaining shots and not rescue pricing as it is much lower than real prices. If u cant afford this then......... I would think one is supposed to feel good after a rescue not taken advantage of. Rescues are not cheap of course cheaper than a breeder but due diligence is expected.

Them people gave my baby away. So my cat sage was stolen from me and then taken to the shelter every time I called the lady told me to talk to my mom about it mind you my mom said that she never told the lady not to talk to me about MY CAT now I call again and she tells me I have to wait till he’s fixed and then come fill out an application I say okay I call today and ask about sage she says he went “home” yesterday trynna rub it my face she then adds with “nice good doctors” I will get her name and post more. They lied to me about my baby and I’m not done talking about it either
