I did traveled an hour to specially open a business account in that location! But the person on window female, late 40's she question (thinking to have a de determination by the clock on schedule ) What type of account are you trying to open? I answered a business, then she slightly denied by saying there nobody to assist me to open a account because those type ones take like an hour or more than a hour to open, so I NEVER EVER SEEN A BANK STOPPING THEIR SERVICE, even when customers walked in minutes prior to close, I did walkin 20 minutes before close 1:40, traveled and on top of that choosed that bank to let them BORROW MY BUSINESS EQUITY! when I walk in other banks they make sure they attend me until the last customer is gone " at closing door schedule "I CAN GUARANTEE MISS April needed to take off, and because of that I have to put my Equity in another branch like bank of America, Chase and or support any other local Banks that see A Investment Opportunities other than Tired weekend and I totally understand.I don't comprehend how they been taking care for customer complaining in a window over an account reset but mine couldn't be flowed.So me traveling 1 hour prioritizing that specific bank but that representative couldn't prioritize customer in an hour even I "EXPLAINED I TRAVELED ONE HOUR" she repeated - oh, so you traveled one hour?!.. I mentioned to her Yes... she realized my deep interest.No resentment just posting my experience and I hope it becomes better for other people, If my role was a be behind counter and miss Sanders would be customer and this would happened I would be getting myself in a Negligence Customer Service issue situation. So, I preferred to work with another branch. ✌️

This local bank is not a good one to stop at the customer service isn’t good at all won’t be coming back to this one.

I have several accounts with several banks and 5/3 is not it for me...smh super trash can't even call customer service

I have had & still have the best service a bank can offer .they tell you the truth about everything I've asked them about. To me they top Chase bank times 10 . very realistically polite not that phoney smile stab you in the back act . I'm proud of the people at 5/3. Bank in Gary, Indiana. Great job keep up the good work.thank you.

Slow service and rude. It's only 2 tellers that are actually quick and courteous. I believe they are newer employees

These people are crooks. Signed up for the "$250 after 60 days" deal. Didnt receive my $250 after 60 days, even though i qualified. Customer service rep told me i was scheduled to receive said payment on april 29th. Called today, because they didnt pay, and was told they didnt have a payment scheduled. Said they have to send it in "for revue"?!? I qualified for that money on April 5th, and theres still no guarantee ill ever receive it. Never had an issue like this at any other bank.

I have been doing business with 5/3 over 20 years ..... I will no longer do business with them their policies and procedures are ridiculous to say the least. I will be closing my accounts.asap

Over 15 years ago I presented a check WRITTEN ON YOUR BANK along with two forms of picture identification. The cashier I dealt wit refused to cash the check. On that day I swore to never, ever under any circumstances do business with Fifth Third Bank. I just received a solicitation to open a checking account and it would give me a $200 bonus. Ain't going to happen. I will be shredding that solicitation, putting it in an envelope and sending it back to you so you can jam it far up your collective rectal orifice!!!

Slowest service I've seen. One lone teller (multiple times a week) helping all 3 counter windows, one "Business" drive-thru, and two regular drive-thru lanes. Always takes at minimum 20 mins to make a simple deposit in the "Business" drive-thru lane. Very nice tellers but this place seems to be drastically understaffed in the way of tellers.
