“A beautiful venue that can easily go from an all day conference to a wedding reception hall. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. Highly recommend for future events. The only downside I experienced was the lack of parking options. Be prepared to walk a few blocks.”

“So, I don't honestly know how much this place costs because my mom got it for a COVID-friendly family Christmas, but I assume it was reasonable, knowing my mom.Cons: the decor is...dated. I would say the kitchen is "late 80s suburban" themed. Also the floorplan is the opposite of open. The house seems to flow endlessly from room to room, with new rooms materializing from each other at every turn. Imagine that your grandma's house had a baby with an old timey funeral parlor. Also there were some weird rules (don't use the Wi-Fi, you can eat in every room except for one, enter and exit specific doors)Pros: the space is versatile. The common area with all the tables (like where the body would be displayed if this were actually an old timey funeral parlor) was immense. The kitchen was also pretty big. And the grounds were nice. The pond, I think, would be really pretty for a summer event. And downtown greenwood is the Southside's most charming area, and it isn't close. Also everything was clean, and the staff member my mom worked with was very helpful and thorough.All in all, if you have a large family gathering (20-30 people, 50+ in good weather) and need an accommodating location in a cute part of town, this is your spot, but if your guests are looking for shiplap and stainless steel fixtures, you shouldn't even bother here.”

“We had the most fun you could have on a gloomy fall afternoon at Boggstown Cabaret. The actors were divine, the food delicious and the wine was perfectly cold!If you haven't been, you need to GO!”

“Pretty restaurant found in an older two story home in Greenwood. The home had nice porches with tables but a little cool and breezy on this day. I was presented with a tea menu and lunch menu upon being seated. From the tea menu I chose the Almond Shortbread. They brought the bag and hot water to me in a cute little teapot and teacup and saucer. It looked like they were all different from one another looking around the room I was in. I dined upstairs. This tea selection was pretty tasty. I ordered the sassafras quiche which is their signature selection. The quiche is crustless and is bursting with feta cheese, spinach, and sun-dried tomatoes. It is topped with hollandaise sauce (a little too much of this for me). It comes with a side salad and a scone. The side salad was a simple mixed greens salad with a raspberry vinaigrette and that vinaigrette may have been my favorite salad dressing of the year! The scone was ok, I am not a huge fan of them. I dipped in my tea though. All of this for $17.57 and $16.90 if I pay with cash. What a deal. I will likely stop in again for lunch and try something different on their menu but I would say it is worth the stop and the service was excellent. They were very busy.”
