Stylist: Hannah Kline was my stylist, she did amazing, very polite and took the time to make it a pleasant experience for me. She talked me through my style and products.

I took my two daughters here as new clients. My 13 year old had balayage highlights done by Maggie she did a beautiful job. My daughter loved her! My oldest had a cut by Hannah and she did beautiful as well! My hair is extremely long and I'm always nervous to get it cut, but I booked my appointment with Hannah and cannot wait! I highly recommend. It's a beautiful place! You won't regret it!

Overall was not impressed. My hair was taken way too dark after I specifically asked for it to not be too harsh. It looked bad with my skin tone. I asked for a dark brown and she took me all the way black. It did not look any different than if I had colored it with box dye. She also styled my hair in the laziest way. Was not worth a $300 visit.

The salon is beautiful! I’ve known the owner for many years now & you can tell she really cares about her clients. She is super knowledgeable & continues to go to trainings to always be learning. She then takes that education to her entire team. Highly recommend!!

Overall not impressed with this salon. The girl had to re do my hair and still did not take the advice from the owner when they discussed what level of product to use . They would not offer my money back even though I walked out with my hair the same way as I walked in.

I've gone to Liv multiple times now and have nothing but nice things to say! The salon was clean and comfortable, even during a 6 hour appointment. Can't recommend them more!

The stylist charged significantly more than she originally quoted, but did not provide any extra services. She had already seen pics of my hair prior to providing a quote, so it wasn't a case of my hair being longer than she expected, or in bad condition, which would warrant additional treatment(s), additional color, etc.The condition of my hair was very bad after the service I was provided (balayage), and when I contacted the stylist to inform her, she did not even suggest I come in so she could look at it and/or try to correct.Also, stylist takes pics of hair after balayage/styling and adds a filter before posting to Instagram. Filter is a misrepresentation of actual results.

Please note: Owner flags all negative google reviews & encourage Yelp to be better due to the verified authenticity of mine- as documented below. I have never written a Yelp review but rely on them heavily. I also value women-owned businesses and women supporting women. With that being said, I would give this salon zero stars if possible- see below for supporting receipts and pictures for verification. I essentially threw away almost $2000.00 for the worst hand-tied experience ever. I have worn hand tied extensions- various methods including IBE and NBR for 4 years, using Covet + Mane hair, premium hair care products (Kevin Murphy), and have been able to wear each "set" of hair for one year. I now need to replace the hair installed horribly at Emerald Collective (by Hannah and owner Erica aware of all issues) after only wearing for 8 weeks. (See photos of my 8-week old hair- completely see through and cut into, shedding vs extension wefts hanging - should be about the same thickness.) I have had nothing but problems since the install; however, salon owner Erica Dildine refuses to fix the situation correctly and admit this is a bad install w/ low quality hair. Salon owner would rather convince me I am a difficult customer (confirmed as otherwise), petition google to remove verified negative reviews with pricing featured, instead of do the right thing - which would have been to fix the right way from the beginning. I received a rude message from the owner and refusal to fix extensions falling out of my head less than 1 week after the first move-up (see photos). No refund offered initially and was told to go elsewhere- stated politely I'd be happy to do so but simply wanted the services I paid for- then was refunded only $250.00 of $2000.00 paid. I went to 2 downtown Indy salons, one referring me to the other for emergency fix that day after seeing the row completely detached from my head after less than a week after the move-up. Both stated I was NOT overreacting and assured this would never occur w/ their clients. The stylist who removed the detached row noticed an abnormal amount of hair loss because of the way the stylist attempted to install and asked to take photos to demonstrate a "bad install." After consistent issues, never having experienced any of which before in almost 4 years of wearing extensions with any stylist or any method, Erica's response was "sorry we cannot make you happy, find another salon," knowing that they were literally falling out of my head less than 1 week after move-up and also knowing and acknowledging the multitude of issues I experienced since install- wefts popping up in the front of head- unable to be disguised, unblended from the beginning due to bad placement of rows -w/ one of the many fixes being stylist Hannah cutting large chunks out of my newly purchased extension hair to "blend." Ultimately, salon owner knew the extensions were literally falling out of head as well as cut into, incorrectly installed, and it was up to her to fix this - she refused to do so because deleting negative reviews seems to be the name of the game; however, this is not how you treat customers, or anyone, quite frankly. My attorney suggested I file a small claims court lawsuit, as I signed no sort of my waiver and have plenty of documentation; however, I have wasted so much time and energy on this, I shouldn't have to continue to do so and expected Erica Dildine to simply recognize how wrong this was, refund my $1750.00, and wish me luck with a new stylist. It's absolutely unheard of for a stylist to allow a client to have my experience with no sort of accountability. My advice is DO NOT go here for luxury hand-tied extension unless you enjoy throwing money away. In fact, I received several quotes prior to visiting salon- all slightly lower. Social media mktg by salon owner led me to believe I'd get a quality experience w/ top talent- what I actually received was the opposite.
