Friendly staff. Great place for a quick gas stop and snacks.

ZERO! On 07/02/19 at 9:59pm, two workers shut out the lights and shut off the pump after I had already started pumping! I went to tell them, and was ignored by the uniformed blonde lady cashier, and was flippantly told (through the locked glass doors) by some shaved-headed guy in a non-uniform, sleeveless shirt: "It's our policy to shut down at 10pm." I said "Even in the middle of someone pumping? You saw me out here." He said "Yep! That's our policy, no matter what." The uniformed lady cashier never once looked up or acknowledged me. I got a whopping .34¢ in gas, but a $101 hold on my card in exchange! (No receipt, of course! The pump told me to see the cashier for my receipt. I was effectively already told to go away.) Luckily I had enough money on my card to go to another gas station and do the normal $101 hold again, but this time get a full tank of gas and nice customer service. I will never go back to this Admiral again, no matter how much cheaper their gas prices may be! I tried calling to let the manager or owner know what happened. I cannot believe that anyone who cares anything at all about customer service would condone cutting off the pumps and lights when someone has already started pumping. That just doesn't make sense to me. How difficult would it have been for them to let me finish my transaction? Couldn't reach anyone, because the phone is constantly busy. I hope by my descriptions, along with date & time, these two workers will be dealt with by manager/owner seeing this review. Having employees like this represent your business will certainly bring a negative impact, especially in a smaller town.

Admiral is an older station that has prime real estate on Main Street right off Franklin's town square. There are only 4 pumps, so it was easy to maneuver in once I spotted their very competitive gas prices. I appreciate not having to dodge people at the larger stations. That being said, it had been a hot minute since I'd had to go through so many steps (enter zip, flip the nozzle up, etc.) to get gas. The pumps were a few years behind, but well worth the price. As I topped off, I couldn't help but notice a senior in front of me having difficulty, so I walked over and asked if I could assist him. He said his card wasn't being read, when in fact, he was having a hard time reading the digital lettering that danced by requesting his zip code. I'm glad I was there to help, because it didn't seem as if anyone inside noticed and the lettering was tricky to read as bright as it was. Nevertheless, nothing could kill my joy on this beautiful sunny Spring day, and having done a good deed made it seem even better!

If you only care about the best price on gas, then stop by here. They were cheaper than any of the half dozen gas stations I drove by on my way from Mooresville to Franklin. But, if you are in a hurry, here are some tips to help you: 1. You can use a debit card, but if do, answer "NO" when it asks if it is a debit card. It can only process cards that the pump thinks are credit cards. It will save you a trip inside to the attendant who will tell you the same thing. 2. Some of the pumps don't give receipts, so you can use your phone to get an image of how much you used instead of having to go inside and having the attendant print you a receipt. 3. When using a card at the pump, it may take a long time to "authorize" since they don't have an internet connection other than via satellite, so on cloudy days, it may take nearly a minute (long enough for the attendant to see me standing there waiting and walk out to the pump to explain it.) Everything works, and the gas is just as good as any other, but you are dealing with an old station and the quirks that go with it. I will give credit to the attendant in the small shop (the sell tobacco, candy, ice, and gas for home grilling) for having a good attitude and being helpful to make the transaction less frustrating. There is a reason this gas is the best price in the area. Review #1987

The place could use a bit of an update in the C-store but it's ALWAYS the absolute most inexpensivelypriced gas around!

My favorite gas station in Franklin. The prices are always lower than the others in the area. Only downfall is some of the pumps don't always work. Recently added pay at pump.
