Renovated gas station ⛽️ They have showers, subway sandwiches, fast checkout and new soda machines. Touch-less soap dispensers and sinks are neat. Really clean and modern.

Brand new building parking lot is under construction. But ended up stranded on the off ramp of i65. Had to apend 36 hours living out of this location. They have showers seating 24hr subway . Evening an moring staff very friendly casual yet professional. Subway staff was great. They had compassion and care for travelers. Tbis will be one of my stops for my trips to Florida.

Recently attempted to purchase lottery tickets through the self service machine. The printer jammed leaving the remaining balance of $33 in the machine. I have left my name and phone number a few times with employees. I have not been reimbursed and now refuse to support this business.

Gas is under 3 bucks in Lafayette 5/7/2024.
We go through Frankfort weekly on the way to Lafayette from Muncie. Cheapest gas gets the fill-up. New Shell almost open at SR28 and SR52. New stations don't matter to me but cheap gas does. GasBuddy let's us shop very efficiently. Walmart in Lafayette usually gets the money from us and the weekly grocery stop is often at Walmart in Frankfort on the way home. The one thing that would improve this place the most is sell a brand that doesn't push profit over employee safety and the environment. BP is a terrible brand.

Place is do for a major face-lift. Hopefully all the construction is just that, a new building with newer and cleaner facilities.

Buying a water bottle here was the only time one of my credit cards left my wallet in weeks. I only even used that card because my primary card refused to work in their credit card reader, and now the card had it's number stolen. There's always a chance it could've been stolen elsewhere, but it seems highly unlikely given this being the only place the cards been used in a long while

The lot is a muddy mess, only park here if you want to track mud inside your truck. Hopefully, they pave the lot when they are done with construction.

OK, so here is the deal: While heading North, the rest area just to the South of this location is closed. So, everyone who has to take a break stops here. About 5 miles down the road is Lafayette, IN where there are more restaurants and gas stations than you can ever believe. Hold it in, drive 5-7 minutes and you are good to go. Stop here, and it is a madhouse. Nothing wrong with the place, they keep it up as well they can, it's just a magnet given the shutdown rest area to the south.

Nice and quiet place to sleep overnight, a lot of room, construction is in a process, be careful. Subway inside works 24/7. Staff is friendly.

Last night around 6pm my husband and I were at the gas station and there was an older woman running the register. She was friendly and handling customers, and from behind the cigarettes which I'm assuming is an office, came a short heavy set younger woman. When she walked past the older woman she smacked her in the side of the head and said something under her breath. It really up set my husband and I to see this and we left. The lady looked upset but continued waiting on customers and was very professional about it.Hopefully someone see this and does something!
