The last office to call for mail delivery! Fed ex, Amazon, UPS and every other carrier can find my house but my packages with usps Are always forwarded because they can’t find the address!!! Plus there is no phone number to talk to an actual person only a damn computer. Government run businesses are a joke!

This post office is great. It's a little small so between 4-5 it's pretty busy so expect a wait. The employees are wonderful. I accidentally dropped off a UPS package once and when I called, the employee found my package and actually go it to UPS for me. Easy to do drop offs here with prepaid lables

They absolutely never answer the phone. I called the bluffton road as well as old trail office at least 10 times each at different times. Never an answer. No wonder the usps is going out of business

It’s 8:38am, it supposed to be opened by 8:30am. And still not opened. It only takes 5 min to stop whatever you’re doing and get it opened, I have places to go to. I rated it zero.

They lost a sentimental item that was mailed to me. Absolutely the worst!

Every time I go into the Waynedale post office, I somehow cannot help but smile! All the employees are light-hearted and always willing to help, whether you're sending a letter, opening a P.O. box, or getting a price check on a package. They are also always smiling and are easy to talk to. Special shout-out to Mary who always helps me with my package price checks!I would highly recommend the Waynedale Post Office! And it is, by far, my favorite Post Office in Fort Wayne!

~Let me begin by saying two quick things: First off, I have NOT had great experiences in dealing with the USPS over the past 10 years. Secondly, I typically do not pay compliments in writing, as it somehow always ends up coming back around to bite me in the rear-end. With that being said, here we go....So for the past couple of weeks now, I have been dealing with a very frustrating and unfortunate situation with a package that has been lost (and still currently has yet to be found) because the postal associate delivered it to the wrong location, but yet had sent me an email saying that all was alright and that it had been delivered on time to the correct address. This was a very special gift, for a very close friend who is not just a retired Major, but who is truly a 2nd father to me.I was ABSOLUTELY furious 150%. To make matters worse, when I tried calling two different numbers for the post office (800 & 877), I could literally not get a single representative as they have it set up to basically ONLY speak to an automated system, regardless if you keep pressing “0” repeatedly—If you try to bypass the system prompts by doing this, it hangs up on you telling you that they have other people who it has to speak with. Seriously?!?!?!?!?!? After an hour and a half of dealing with call after call, I FINALLY was able to get through. I was LIVID, to say the least. Then I get Hallie K. on the phone here at a Fort Wayne location. She was -PHENOMENAL- from not only beginning to end, but rather also even more so with the days that have followed. Her Customer Service, and I am not exaggerating, truly ranks up there within the top two (if not actually being Number 1 Itself) of literally being the ABSOLUTE BEST that I have ever encountered, over the past 10 years HANDS DOWN!!!!!!!!!!! She was patient, understanding, empathetic, pro-active, knowledgeable, ready to take ownership and immediate action, she continued to follow up not just with me day after day by phone and in writing (I never expected either, as Des Moines/Grimes Iowa is who is responsible for the entire fiasco!), but has been getting them on the ball with things as well!I went completely off on Hallie when she first answered the phone (I did initially let her know that while she was going to receive the brunt of my anger, and that it was truly not directed at her as I understood that at the end of the day, she was not the cause of this, nor did she have a hand in any part of the mixup) literally screaming within the first two minutes after introductions, with some cuss words in the conversation as well. She never interrupted, she never tried to correct me, and when I was finished (about 5-10 minutes later), she was as calm with her tone and given language, as if a church service had just begun......I was shocked by her amazing self-control, and I also left our conversation with having received several self lessons from her that I will always carry with me throughout the rest of my life!!If the Post Office reads this and actually cares—They need at least 30 more people like her, if not dozens upon dozens more like her. She deserves to be recognized, she deserves to be rewarded, and possibly even promoted. It is absolutely people like her, that continues to keep this World a better place to live, regardless of the difficulties that -ANY of US- face within our lives daily!!! Hallie, if you have the opportunity to see this—Kudos to you for UNBELIEVABLE & AMAZING service—Thanks!

I am disappointed because I was late going in work today so that I could pick up a package that was delivered to the post office. They usually deliver it to my home but, this one was not. But, when I got there at 830AM there was a sign stating the office does not open until 1030. Google should probably be updated. This is very inconvenient.

This place kinda sucks because they close at random hours during their business hours. Terribly inconsistent on the times they close too. Always a line when they are open, probably because of the condensed hours they actually operate during their hours of business. Never thought I'd write a Yelp review for a post office but this one slacksssss

Website and door both state the hours are 8:30am to 5pm but handmade sign inside states retail window opens at 9:15am. Very frustrating, especially being a post office. From the looks of the reviews and comments, this seems to be a regular issue with closing or opening before their set hours.
