I have shopped at Susan’s when she opened her doors. She has beautiful clothing and accessories. I moved to Indy 6 years ago, but we just moved back. My daughter is coming up Friday and we are going to Susan’s that afternoon. We can’t wait to reacquaint ourselves with Susan, her associates, and shop her beautiful line of clothing.

CUSTOMER SERVICE HORRIBLE UNLESS YOU ARE HANDING OVER "YOUR MONEY". This store does have beautiful clothing at TOP DOLLAR which I have paid for with out blinking an eye. However. DON'T E EVER TRY TO RETURN SOMETHING. God forbid if something doesn't fit right or is even defective. You will get the hassle of your life if you try to return it. As long as you are spending money. They are friendly, funny also very pushy about your purchase. There is a quotes that state, " If show one shows you who they are believe them the first time. " Well I guess I did not learn. When if i first moved to Indiana a few years ago, I went to Susan's spent over $6000.00 (YES!!!) A few weeks later I wanted to switch something for a different size, not even a return. The owner was nasty and accusing. I did not understand the problem? In my mind I thought , don't go back to that store. However since I like the clothing they sell and it is easy in, easy out, for my hectic life. I continued to go there, spending lots of my hard earned money, but NEVER RETURNED ANYTHING, because of not wanting to be treated like they did the first time. The last time I shopped with them in late December, as normal, I spent over $5000.00, which considering their prices, is easy to do. I did not wear one of the items until recently. I think we all leave items hang in our closet. When I wore the 150.00 ( full price paid) shirt, it was defective. I thought hard and long about returning it. If it did not fit I probably still would have kept it like have numerous other items from this store. DEFECTIVE ITEMS SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE RETURNED? When I tried to return it, I even stated that I would love to have a store credit. The hassle started. First the sales clerk had attitude. I knew where this was going. The owner actually tossed the shirt on the the counter and stated, 'WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO DO WITH THIS. AFTER TRYING TO JUSTIFY WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS... Having worked in retail, I know her profit margin. I know that her mark up is 50-70% SHE OFFERED TO ME HALF OF THE MONEY BACK!!!!!! SHE SAID THAT SHE WOULD LOSING DARN RIGHT SHE WILL BE LOSING MONEY BECAUSE I WILL NEVER, EVER GO BACK IN THAT STORE! BUYER BEWARE---DONT EVER TRY TO EXCHANGE OR RETURN ANYTHING, FOR ANY REASON. UNLESS YOU ARE BUYING AND SPENDING, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT SOMETHING THIS BUSINESS HAS TO OFFER.
