Went into the store today to take advantage of the sale. I overheard a lady saying she was from out of the states and trying to return a product. The advisor told her she would have to go to a stand alone Sephora store. She told the woman the closest one was Indianapolis. I chimed in and stated Mishawaka may be closer. The advisor ignored me (Which is completely fine). She later the daughter me out while I was shopping to say “just do you know the Mishawaka store and Indianapolis store are the same distance away to the minute”. She then went to all her coworkers and was snickering about the whole situation. This had taken me by surprise because I was just trying to be helpful by providing more information to the other shopper. The woman’s attitude was so rude. I ended up putting my products back on the shelf and leaving. I’m not sure what point she was trying to prove, but she ruined my experience.

I went to the Sephora with my friend to grab a few things to shop for make up at first everything was fine. The lady there was helpful. I didn’t catch her name but once we were there for five minutes, we started noticing that she was following us around everywhere I would go she would go and obviously I was the only POC in the Sephora, so it was clearly obvious that she was following me around because I was black. It made me very uncomfortable, so I decided to say out loud that I will be leaving and putting it back and not purchasing anything and going to Ulta because I’m uncomfortable. Sephora has always had an issue with black customer shopping there. Hopefully they can resolve this because it obviously makes people uncomfortable. I would recommend not following your POC customers around not everyone that’s black is going to steal.

David is amazing ❤️ he definitely deserves a raise. He’s probably the reason you guys have returning customers. He is so so sweet and most of all so helpful and insightful. He made me feel like a friend not a customer. I will be back again to see him.

The Sephora in there is so amazing! Customer Service 10/10. As soon as i walked in I was greeted and offered help. When I was checking out Aiza (Amazing employee) helped me get a discount!!

I did not get the name of the nice girl that helped me today, she had long blonde hair, was tan, had some tattoos, and she helped me with covering up my own tattoo. she was so kind and really thorough and helped me look for products that would help me. Thank you!!

Give David a raise immegiately!!! David saw me trying to color match and jumped right in to help, taught me how to warm my skin up for the summer, also overall good service from all of the employees and a clean store :)

I was in Kohl's last evening, looking for last-minute Christmas gifts. I stopped into Sephora, and was greeted by David. He was so kind and knowledgeable! I have gone to so many makeup counters for my skin concerns and color-matching foundations, with no luck. I pointed out the products and shades I've tried, and he said I was going too light! At first I was dumbfounded, but he tested some products on my face - NOT my arm like so many do. He explained why the shades work for my skin-type and tone while doing it, and also sent a sample of a brand I haven't tried! I did full-face today with the sample, and I finally feel like I have the shade and coverage I want! He even taught me a few tricks to achieve a clean makeup application! He also recommended other products to help with the uneven and red tones. I will be playing around for a bit to find what works best for me!Thank you, David! I will definitely be back to see you!

I like shopping here but wish i could recieve the same warm welcome and shopping atmosphere as other customers. Maybe some diversity would help.

So, today while we were at the Tincaps baseball game, we had a young lady that Brayton just adores stay with him. He asked her to go to Kohl’s in Ft Wayne so he could ride the escalator. Once they arrived and went to the escalator, the store manager promptly told them to leave, and, do not come back!! Precisely, don’t bring him (Brayton) back, ever! Kohl’s in Northcrest! #kohls
