I was 10 minutes late for my appointment and upon arriving was told my car needed to be empty and have more gas in it—I was frustrated in the moment because I wasn’t told this upon scheduling. She said it was in the email, reviewing afterward on the “appointment reminder email”, you had to scroll 2 pages down to read the last clause of fine print that relayed this information. Needless to say I wish this was communicated better, but they were apologetic and got me rescheduled. Technically, all my own fault, but it would be helpful to have this information displayed or reminded better for future customers. Moving forward, I had the windshield done and also added wiper blades. Upon picking up, Marleigh at the front desk said she was going to cover the add on blades for the hassle of last time. I truly was shocked at her kindness and appreciated putting the customer first even though they technically did nothing wrong. It seems like this type of service is hard to come by these days, and I felt so valued by her and the company that they would offer this. Thank you!!!

I scheduled an appointment to replace my windshield from 8-12pm on a Friday. Noah arrived at my residence early at 9:30am. He clearly communicated where I should park my vehicle for his installation adding that it should take about an hour. I mentioned that I had a virtual appointment at 10am and that he can knock on the door when it was ready so that I can look it over. Amazingly, he finished the install by 10am exactly! He only took about 4 minutes to wrap up the installation and was very easy to work with - he even noted that my old windshield had blue tint on top and offered to reschedule if I prefer a replacement with blue tint. I opted to install the one on hand. I don't think this was his error as I set up the appointment online. If anything, a representative should have called and confirmed. Also, I did notice that the windshield wipers were not the same type as my passenger windshield wiper is smaller than the driver's side, and the SafeLite replacements were both the same size...not sure they looked this up online beforehand. All in all my experience was a pleasant one, and the technician was fantastic. For next time, I will confirm the tint and wiper size before the appointment.

Very disappointed in Joseph from Safelite fort Wayne. Would not recommend having this person on your property. Requested he leave my property asap . What's wrong with these young kids. And all of this is after I paid a week ago to get replaced. Take your chances you may regret it. I rescheduled with another company. Yes a bit more but worth it completely.

Prices way higher than my quote. I won't waste my time or effort with Safelite again. Enough said. My advice,call around and save money !!!

He forgot a bolt on the back wiper and I had to find someone to take it apart and re fix it. But the window looks nice

I had given a previous review as a good business. 2 weeks after I replaced my windshield I went to a car wash and it cracked down the middle. I took it directly to Safelite and they said they didn't warranty it if it had a chip. I believe it was chipped when they put it in. I went back to the car wash and he asked if someone had pushed or pounded on the windshield because of where it was cracked. Anyway I realized Safelite wasn't going to back it up. A receptionist was the one who came out to look at the windshield when i took it there and no one from the shop came out. I took my truck to a hand car wash and saw where the plastic seal/part was away from the windshield. Now I know why I was hearing noise I hadn't heard before. I told the receptionist that I had heard wind through the windshield but nothing was done. I hope my insurance company drops them as a place to go!!!

had my windshield on my car replaced, and things seemed ok at first. after i left, though, i noticed that these little rubber bits werent seated on correctly, and that there were two little paint chips next to each other as well. since i drive a pretty new vehicle, i had to pay almost a grand for the replacement and recalibration, and im quite annoyed that there is fit and finish issues. there is also some adhesive that is visible on the inside, but i dont have a photo of it. all in all, pretty bad craftsmanship.
