I can usually find what I need at HD. However when I can't, it's next to impossible to get an employee to help you.

Parking lot is massive, so you won't have any trouble parking your long AF truck or trailer. Despite what other said here, customer service is top notch here. What you radiate is what you will attract. I'm working on a big home project, which required A LOT of woodcutting. I found the prices for wood here were cheaper than Menards. Shout out to Turner for helping us cut 2x4s, 1x5s, plywoods and soooo much more. He really took the time to help us cut pieces - a literal Angel. Found everything I needed here and would recommend this location.

Will not purchase another appliance from Home Depot. We purchased a washer/dryer set with free installation. Only the dryer was delivered. The delivery company refused to install the dryer because was not noted on their paperwork. Have talked with customer service numerous times trying to locate our 'lost' washer. They failed to call back every time they said they would. Now nearly a week after delivery they have found our washer - but we must wait another entire week for that to be delivered because they are all booked up. We felt that our delivery should have been moved up the line because it will now be nearly 3 weeks from purchase to delivery due to their error in misplacing the unit. Customer service was awful - one telling us to keep calling back, another telling us not to call - they will call us - which they never do! We understand that things happen - people make mistakes - but Home Depot dropped the ball on this over and over. So disappointed. No more purchases requiring delivery from Home Depot - every again!

could not leave review for the Auburn store but their customer service is SHAMEFUL! Went in after work today to get a garage door opening system, pricing them and determining features. ALL the boxes were crunched or re-stapled back shut. The guy asked why "I wanted the back one" bc they are wrapped well in styrofoam. I told him if I was going to pay $400 for a product I'm making sure it's not damaged before I buy instead of after I get it home. He sniped back "It's only 289.00! (I wanted the $379.99 one). He kept digging and said "this one alright?". I said NOPE and left. Menards here I come!

Paid for installation and all new parts so they would install it, they dropped the washer and dryer off without installing it because I didn't have a part even though I paid for them to have the parts.

This Home Depot has the rudest and laziest people at their service desk and I use the term service lightly because I never received any service. I will be contacting the home office.

I do remodeling in Fort Wayne and Home Depot always finds a way to let me down. Customer service isn't good. They have 3-5 people at the desk but no one is saying anything to the customer. Never on time with orders and usually the product is damaged. Not a fan. Lowes is better

They get 2 stars because they did compensate us half of our purchase price of the CubCadet commercial grade zero turn mower we purchased through Home Depot for their mismanagement and communication. In the end the CEO, escalations director, higher senior management, and Cub Cadet themselves had to be involved to resolve. Long story short, Took 2 months to get a commercial grade zero turn mower that we ended up having to retrieve ourselves and unpack. After speaking with 14 Home Depot employees from entry level, middle management ,store managers, to directors, I had enough of the run around and miscommunication. I personally emailed the CEO, COO, and Northern Division president. Told them I would be embarrassed of how their company is run, how incompetent they were for lack of communication, how shameful it was they operated how they were, and that my 4 year Olds preschool class could communication better than they all did. We purchased a Cub Cadet commercial grade 60in zero turn mower, in a 70in crate. We were advised by CubCadet to go through our nearest dealer and they told us Home Depot. We order it early April 2021 and did not receive the mower till end of May 2021. Mower was supposed to be FREE shipping, unwrapped and off a palet so it could be driven onto a trailer. We had to personally go retrieve the mower in its crate. Someone at some point set it onto of another pallet because the crate broke. Took us 2.5 hours to get out of the packaging at our home. It arrived at XPO logistics in Fort Wayne. After two reschedules by XPO, they realized they don't have the means to deliver. This should have been known when Conway delivered the mower to XPO logistics! The manager at XPO logistics did not do her part I reporting this to HomeDepot. We call HomeDepot to explain the situation. We don't have a trailer. We went through Home Depot because they offered free shipping to our home. After the 14th Home Depot employee I talked to on the phone for an hour and a half, no exaggeration, I had enough. It is then I emailed the CEO, COO, And Northern President and asked them to step in and fix the mess. At this point over a month had gone by. The CEO gets a escalations director to take over my case. Eventually the director tells me a Carrier has already picked it up. The weekend approaches and my husband gets a call from a different carrier than what the escalations director told us. This new company tells us the same thing!! For the second time I email the CEO and I tell him to fix.I tell him we updated his own employees and we don't even work there. After the weekend, senior management in the company personally calls me on his cell phone. He apologizes and he states he doesn't even understand how it got this far and to this point. He mentioned it was last years model so it was harder to track but agree it was unacceptable how it all happened. I told him we deserve to be compensated for our trouble considering they made us loose two days of wages for waiting around for it 2 months ago. The senior buyer for CubCadet got wind of the whole mess and was upset for us. He said it was a mistake on CubCadets part for recommending HomeDepot as an authorized dealer. A longer more detail review is on the Fort Wayne HD Facebook page and Angie's list.

I went to home depot to have granite countertops installed i literally pd. Thousands of dollars in advanced only to have my install delayed 4 times over a period of five months . When they finally did show up they destroyed our cabinets that the countertop needed to go on. All of our drawer guides were missing or broken, lower countertop fascia Missing, all back splash was destroyed when they removed my existing backsplash covering leaving damage to the sheet rock. During the installation process they broke the sink we paid for, had to wait hours for them to get a replacement sink, showed up at noon to start 4hrs late, the reason was they claimed they had to get gas. We called home depot to complain about this, they said they would have someone get back took us, nobody ever got back to us, now we are in the process of repairing this problem ourselves, the manager of this store is lacking in control and customer care, this store had a manager named Michelle she was great, this store has been in a steady state of free fall since this manager left. The current manager should get a salesman of the year award from lowes and menards.

Two bad experiences in two days. The customer service desk was a clusterf*** the first day. It took fifteen minutes to pick-up my online order. For some reason it takes three associates to return a fan, and one to walk up and tell me the lady who he was "helping" was there before me. How the f is that possible WHEN I WAS STANDING THERE FOR five minutes! The second day I went back for a ceiling fan downrod that was in stock, four of them were listed as in stock, not so much. So glad LOWE's is two minutes away. My family left there happy. This Home Depot.... not so much.

Got what we needed pretty quickly and easily. They need to do better directing you to specials and sale items though, we didn't even see a sales flyer.

Someone gave The Home Depot a bad review? Ahhh Hecks naw you didn't. This is the best home improvement center around. They got high quality stuff here, the stores are just nice and the prices aren't any more than Lowe's or Menard. I think this store is better! Easier to find sh*t and high quality tools ,fixtures, bolts, wire, compressors, dollys, screw drivers, drill bits you name it Son! They got it and it's quality stuff. Nice shopping experience too! I love The Home Depot! Very good indeed.

When I lived in Michigan Home Depot was my go to store. Great products, great prices and great service. Unfortunately, the Fort Wayne store hasn't measured up to the standard I had grown used to. I have been in this store half a dozen times, the latest was today, and it will be my last. The customer service at this store is marginal at best. If you know what you want and where to find it in the store you'll probably be ok. It is when you need assistance, particularly when special ordering that your experience will likely go sideways, like mine has, several times. Trying to get questions answered about carpet I had to hunt someone down and still wait over 20 minutes to speak to them. Today, wanted to order blinds currently on sale, associate was helping another customer, who then wants to open a line of credit. I'm expected to wait through that lengthy process. Smart choice would have been to call another associate to help the customer who has now been waiting 15 minutes with no end in sight. Nope. Done waiting for HD, heading to Lowe's.
