Clerk /owner was rude. The card machine keypad privacy cover fell off and she started blaming me. Also smells like sewer gas inside. Save yourself the headache and go across the street to Lassus they know how to treat people who are spending their hard earned money.

The convenience store is small, dingy and has limited selection. If you’re looking for a snack or a drink, you’d be much better off going across the street to Lassus.

I needed gas and this place was conveniently located to where I just finished eating. Took me no time to pay for my gas. I certainly cannot complain about the experience.

The pumps work great. Close to interstate, open for snacks.☹️ Not window cleaner solution or paper towels in the window cleaning boxes. Restaurant was closed (I think it was a Burger King).

Place is a joke! Overpriced and it smells like a hog barn! Do yourself a favor and go across the street!

Today I came in to buy a cup of coffee and asked the cashier that works the 6:30am shift did he know why the lobby at Burger King was closed and he replied in a very sarcastic manner saying he worked at the gas station not Burger King. I simply said he didn’t have to be rude and he told me to leave if I didn’t like it. He’s bad for business.

Rude employee. Customer service sucks. Go next door, or down the street, or to the next town.

NOTE: this refers to 513 E. Dupont Kroger ShellOk, here we go. After years of daily using this business to refuel after a day of delivering food, I had established this as my go to gas station, even to the point where I came here first, in spite of living 20 minutes away (one of the few still selling my product at the lowest price). So, 20mins from home realize dont have mask, see next two customers walk in w/o mask. Walk in, find free mask, put on, walk up to counter where the employee who normally wears a mask is not. Ask (only due to recent observations & I'm genuinely not sure) Has the mask mandate been lifted? Employee says they don't know. What's your next Q? Mine was, So why aren't you? (Not out of anger but it just naturally flowed out of the situation). Mgr jumps out office berating me for "yelling & screaming" at her employee. Totally escalates the situation to where she calls the cops because she started asking me to leave from the beginning and I keep insisting on trying to explain why she's totally misinterpreted everything (one example: she kept saying she couldn't control her customers, even after I explained my mention of the customers was only in reference to my wondering if the mandate had been lifted, never having anything to do with her business specifically. She kept defending herself against an accusation I never threw at her). My only reaction to the potential of police arriving was to want to wait for them to get there, so perhaps another rational mind will help resolve this to a situation where I actually want to come back again. However, the Shell mgr kept approaching me until she was 6" from my face. I was about to incredulously ask if she was actually trying to make this physical, but instead decided that was when it no longer mattered if I was right. I meandered my car into an adjacent lot, where a police officer tapped my window while I was composing this review. I immediately told him how thankful I was for the opportunity to explain it to someone, because my frustration with leaving the premises was always based on wanting to resolve the conflict rather than accept it wasn't resolvable. So the police now know to watch out for the mgr of this particular Shell station, as one who needs policing so bad they actually call the police when not necessary, lol. However, probably their only loyal customer is now banned from returning. Nice management there, Shell mgr, lol. Even better by whoever hired her. And if you happen to be her boss, please please please reply with a way for me to contact you and deliniate the details of this event to you. I searched, "owner of Shell 513 E Dupont", but found nothing other than how to contact the station itself. I would appreciate the opportunity to, if nothing else, just verbally/textually make things right.
