Bakery - prices are great for a bakery order, but I think maybe someone needs a little more training on how to do the prints on the icing. I ordered cupcakes that should have 1 character per cupcake, but they just printed out all 6 teeny tiny on each instead 😅 tastes pretty good though. For 9.99 I didn’t feel it was worth going back to try to dispute it. Plus the first girl I encountered seemed frightened and confused by me just saying I was picking up an order.

I like this meijer BUT whenever I buy meat here it’s always covered in sticky wet meat juice and the shelves in the meat department are disgusting too. Sometimes this is unavoidable with meat at stores but I feel like it’s especially bad here. I don’t like having sticky raw chicken juice on my hands when I’m shopping.

They need to leave the sale of live pets to professional, humane breeders. The state of their bettas is sad and disgusting. Even filled to the very top the cups they are kept in are far too small. The water in them would need to be changed in them 3x a day to keep waist toxins from building up. But most of the cups were only half full of water which is even worse. Each fish was suffering one or more of the effects of Ammonia poisoning: clamped fins, fin rot, severe color loss, pop eye. One was dead and had been dead for a long time. The cups were cover in algae some brown and some green. One betta even had algae growing on the edges of his rotted fin. Do better Meijer. To every else please do not buy live animals from places like this. It’s sad to walk away but we cannot support this. The staff at Meijer are great but they are not pet care professionals. There is a lot involved with fish care hence live animals have no place in a grocery store. I’m not buying any aquarium equipment there until they stop selling bettas or house them in real tanks with heat and filtration. If it wasn’t for this, I would give them high ratings.

You can’t get any help with fishes I waited for over 20 minutes for someone. A Meijer employee walked by and didn’t even offer to help. Their prices on fishes you can go to pet stores around town and get them cheaper and better taken care of. Multiple dead fish in tanks half the lights don’t work so you can’t see half the fish on the one side! Getting someone to help is like pulling teeth at this Meijer!! Their plants are half dead, their fresh produce is hit and miss.

My least favorite location in town. The store organization makes no sense why is pet food over by sports and automotive?

This Store is going downhill. Need to check everything you grab to make sure it's not out of date or expired. Can goods on the shelves expired by over a month. And never have more than two checkout lanes open when people are lined up.

Prefer to shop here for meats instead of Walmart. Better variety and quite a few deals.
