The staff was very good with our 20 year old cat. I was in and out of the appointment in 15 minutes.

Can't say enough good things about Dr. Cawood. He's thorough, takes his time, educates, and you can tell he truly loves what he does. Everyone is helpful and he's affordable. He has not sold out and been swallowed up by some of the bigger vet clinics. He has done 3 ortho surgeries for our family and I have nothing but good things to say. We live 40 mins away and he is well worth the drive!

This was the number 1 vet in Fort Wayne and one of the only ones who do surgeries. I have been a long standing customer and have always had nothing but good things to say about them. As of recently, it’s like they stopped caring as much. They charge $55 for a missed appointments but called and cancelled with me the day of my appointment, said they couldn’t see the pups but would let us come get the meds for them. They were closed when we got there at 3pm when they said to come in. Of course we don’t get a $55 credit bc their time is obv worth more than customers.
One of my dogs had an emergency and they even have a phone extension for if it’s an emergency. I called and they just said they won’t see him today and make it tomorrow without offering anything to help get through today. Just asking for a sedative or something at all to help calm him down and let him get some sleep. I asked to speak with the doc directly, just to get some advice then put on hold for OVER AN HOUR. I will gladly share the screenshot. I then got hung up on…… Called back and put back on hold for ANOTHER HOUR. They clearly don’t care any more.
Just not what it used to be.

Indian Creek Veterinary Hospital has a wonderful staff of veterinary professionals. Thy have cared for my dogs for about 6 years. Caring, compassionate, with a genuine love for animals, my experiences with them have always been top notch. I highly recommend them.

They’ve given my dog the best care over the last 16 years. From his initial heart worm treatment, to a surgery, to annual visits, to prescribing the right meds, the care by all of the vets there has been great.

Decent place if you don't raise question about vaccine efficacy.
Lepto is known to cause more harm than good in many breeds and when I asked this question, you'd think it was the end of the world.
Needless to say, they still administered lepto vaccine to my very small puppy without my permission.
I'm glad they work for most people, but this place did not suit me well and left a bad taste.

Excellent Reptile Care!!! I was so very impressed with Dr Merkt. (I hope I spelled her name rt.) She was so patient and kind. I have a 19yr old Gecko Leppard and was very worried. I have never seen him so calm, she did a spectacular job with him! The front staff was extra polite and understanding They worked hard to get him in asap. So happy ?

Very professional and they truly care about our pets! I was shown test results and everything was explained in detail. I love Indian Creek Veterinarian Hospital! I do wish we lived closer.

We had a bad experience with one of the veterinarians. We switched and now have great service. They are quick to label a dog as bad. What they didn't realize is that some dogs have anxiety when away from owners. We now do all shots with me in the room and he does amazing.

We take a variety of animals to Indian Creek, and all of them are happy and healthy! We have a dog, a cat, and a bunny, and we drive a little further because everyone is so nice, helpful, and caring.
Update: Still taking all our animals here and love the standard of care and the time they spend answering all my questions. Two dogs, three cats, and a bunny.
Update: While I love all the people at this vet office I have had a couple times where I needed my pets to be seen that day. I called in the mornings, upset that there was something wrong with my babies. First time they referred me to SW Animal Hospital. They turned us away at an hour before closing time. Spent two days at NIVES and then finally got into Indian Creek to have the dog put to sleep. Today it's my cat. Called in the morning for an emergency, they can see him in 4 days. I need a quality of life check on him. Sudden illness or injury and he's not able to move his back legs. 4 days is unacceptable.
I don't expect a vet office to love my pets as much as I do, but I do expect them to see their patients when there's trouble. We entrust them with the care of our fur babies for preventative care, but what about trauma, emergencies? I am lost and dealing with this emergency alone, and with strangers.
Disappointed and Hearbroken.

Our English Mastiff was diagnosed at an urgent care with Pyometra, an infection of her uterus. It is life threatening. Indian Creek got us in right away for the life saving surgery our girl needed. Dr Caywood did her surgery and was amazing, him and the amazing staff took care of our girl and saved her life. We are forever grateful for Indian Creek!!
