HERE AT THE RESCUE MISSION IS SO VERY DEPRESSING TO SPEND THE DAY, CERTAIN STAFF HERE HAVE TERRIBLE ATTITUDES PLUS RESCUE MISSION IS A BIG JOKE ABOUT CHANGING LIVES WHICH IS NOT TRUE THEY TREAT ALL OF US LIKE NO BODY BECAUSE ALL OF US ARE HOMELESS AND CANNOT FIND A PLACE TO LIVE ON OUR OWN PLUS DO NOT CARE ABOUT HELPING ALL OF US.

The drug problem is out of control they kick people out for just squabbles and the staff are racist along with lewis I was kicked out over a dispute in the dead of winter for 3 days I had to use a sterno two blankets and a heavy jacket that was falling apart I'm kicked out for self defense till December but to add more they served us spoiled food along with it being out the garbage and the woman who runs it is completely disrespectful and causes a scene they let one person die outside in the cold with nothing but a T-shirt and joggers along with two people who over dosed there the showers are not clean many people there complain of fungal infections and the same is true with the bathrooms they constantly press you to go to church when you don't believe in what they believe in that's if your in the program mind you I've seen some of the same people mind you in the program and are forced to do chores constantly like slave labor they kick out people who are going to sue them and so on its a literal concentration camp

Was there to donate some food. Called the office and kitchen team came to pickup and thanked. Dont know how facility looks from inside. But pretty neat place for someone who has nowhere to go.

They have free meals. I go there for a free meal at certain times of the day. They also have an overnight shelter for men.

RESCUE MISSION IS SO BORING AND THE FOOD THEY GIVE US EVERYDAY IS ALOT OF EGGS, CHICKEN THE KITCHEN WORKERS HERE NEED TO CHANGE THEIR MENU UP, PLUS TO MANY STRICK RULES IT IS A VERY DEPRESSING PLACE WITH ALOT OF STRESS.

The mission is a great place for men but it got me out of the rain lots of times and I got great sleep there too

Went to this mission with friends. We all got four meals to hand out to one's that can't get out or have any family. This was the Easter dinner. The people that ate it got severe diarrhea. The menu on the website was turkey, ham, and potato salad. They got leftover spaghetti instead of potato salad. I will never do that again. I will find other resources. They should be ashamed of themselves.

The Fort Wayne Men's Rescue Mission is a great place to get back on your feet. They either have programs to help you or they can refer you to other programs and organizations that can help you.

It's a shame this is the only place you can go to when you're homeless in fort Wayne... They offer a 30 day emergency stay for everyone, if you want longer you must join one of their many faith based life recovery programs. There is there salvation army too, but they make you work for next to no pay effectively slavery... Forced religion, slavery, or pitch a tent and hope the cops don't need with you... Gotta love Fort Wayne!
