Over a week that Victoria was supposed to set up a rental still no word ! Also they didn’t even check to see who the owner of the vehicle and sent the check in my boyfriend‘s name Very poor customer service would not recommend to anyone so sorry if you have to go through this company.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I was involved in a hit and run accident at fault of the other driver. Erie failed to send me an adjuster, I get a call saying my car is ready but I owe almost $4500. I say that my insurance was supposed to cover and they said that it never went through. I call my insurance and the girl on the phone very obviously didn’t understand what she was supposed to say or do. She says that ‘my insurance may not cover all hit-and-run accidents.’ Isn’t this why I have insurance?? Then I called up my agent let her know of the situation she make some phone calls, and next thing you know, my car is ready for pick up and I don’t owe anything.After this whole situation, I decide I want to switch to another insurance company because I didn’t want to run into the situation again, and the lady I spoke to was so rude and condescending with the nastiest attitude because I wanted to leave the insurance company that did not help me the one time I needed them. Do yourself a favor and avoid this insurance company at all costs.

I would like to start off by saying if I could’ve given negative stars I would. My S/O was involved in an accident rendering his vehicle totaled and from the very first time we spoke to Velena Preston about the appraisal and our claim not only was she rude but very defensive. Implying we were telling her how to do her job (we were asking questions.) Kept saying things like “we know how to do our jobs.” when they clearly do not considering they never even finished the appraisal of the total damages done to the vehicle.All of that I can get past but it’s when we heard her set the phone down while my S/O was speaking to her about concerns he had and then pick it back up about 5 seconds after he was done talking, then proceed to not discuss any of the concerns talked about (because she sat the phone down) and give the same response, “we know how to do our jobs.” Her attitude was poor and down right disrespectful especially for someone who is supposed to be in the costumer service industry. Needless to say we will be switching insurance companies. I wouldn’t recommend a rat on the street to go here if that tells you anything.

I met with Austin Headley, the insurance adjuster from Erie, on several mutual clients' roofs, and he is always very professional and helpful in making sure the clients are getting what they need.. It’s honestly such a blessing to work alongside him and learn from him. I recommend Erie to everyone looking for an honest insurance company to protect their home!

My wife was injured in a collision over a year ago and Erie has been a wall to overcome every step of the way.When called, they rarely respond to voicemails left. In over a year dealing with them for approval of medical treatment I have never gotten a live person to answer my phone call.They are trying to push my wife to settle her claim though she is not done with treatment because Erie is ignoring our calls about a letter of promise to MRI companies (as we cannot afford health insurance nor the $2700 for 3 MRIs she needs) to continue her treatment.If you ever have a claim filed with Erie, I hope your experience is better than ours, but it doesn't seem hard to beat the terrible service we've gotten.

I also got in an accident where the party at fault was had insurance from this company. They tried to low ball me and give me 1000 less than what my cat was actually worth.
