Sometimes you have to slow down to hurry up when it comes to taking care of a problem. This place is my go-to when I get stuck. It's a hardware store you expect to find in a nostalgic film about a small town and big dreams. There is usually only one man working, so you have to be patient to receive the one-on-one attention. He works with you to really figure out your problem and really spends the time figuring out what your next move should be, just don't go picking through the bolts in the back! That's his job; oops. There are assortments of hard-to-finds and he even keeps odd things around for special customers with special wants, like a specific tool that one customer prefers over those that sell well. This place is special, in the best way possible. Take your time, slow down, and enjoy browsing this eclectic haven for odds and ends, gardening equipment, project mastery, seeds and bulbs, birdseed, nuts, bolts, & screws, key cutting, plumbing, electrical, and anything else home that you may need to survive a project from h*ll.

It's 7:30pm on a Friday. Supposedly they are open until 8 but the lights are off and the door is locked. So I'm not sure if this place is still in business or not. Regardless, I guess I'll have to go to a place that wants my business.

I have been shopping for a mower. I stopped in and the owner showed me the ones that he had. He also told me the quality in that he also services them. So I shopped around at some of the big box stores and saw the same price for the same mower. But I decided to come back to White Swan Plaza because it’s local. The owner allowed me to purchase it and then hold it until we close on our house. He close the sale by shaking my hand and thanking me. There’s something about the store that’s genuine and I appreciate the service that I received. And I felt the price of the market was very fair.

Truly am example of an excellent hardware store. The owner and operator knows every single corner of the store, always helps the moment you walk in. This is not big box shopping, this is what the essence of customer service is. You can pretty much find anything you need here. And bonus there's items from years ago. I always shop here first, if i can't get it here I'll go to the other boxes. Shopping here keeps the money in the community and is the essence of treating your neighbor as your brother.
