“One of the only places that sells 91 octane. It’s cheaper than 93 that most stations offer as premium, but still works perfectly if you drive a car that requires premium. The store is large, has a great selection and is always clean. I go out of my way to stop at Lassus over any other gas station!”

“Best CVS in Fort Wayne . Just transferred to this cvs even though I have to drive an extra 20 minutes and I still believe it’s quicker than the cvs next to my house (Fort Wayne Calhoun) . The Calhoun location was awful and wait time sometimes was 25+ minutes and even then sometimes didn’t get my prescription”

As you saw, I’m not functioning well. I’ve fought with cvs over many things for many years. Today? This store & this beautiful soul went above & beyond. UPDATE FROM AUG 2023. *1/9/24*
My 30 year old daughter suffered an ischemic stroke on 8/8/23. We were sent to Neuro ICU at Lutheran, 2 1/2 hours from home. I didn’t budge for 13 days.. when we knew she would survive. I willed my entire soul into hers during that 2 week period. Willed it to will her soul as we are connected. Everything I had. Sleep, sustenance, an abundance of love. I willed her to feel my unconditional devotion & hoped she could absorb the power of that & the understanding of how I couldn’t live without her & she wasn’t allowed to ever leave me. I’m not a person of religion but I am a spiritual person. I have great faith. In all of my begging rants? Most of all, I kept repeating to her? The universe? Myself?.. You didn’t deserve THIS. You DID NOT deserve THIS.. This egregious injustice? Stay with me, my baby.. YOU DID NOT DESERVE THIS!!
Does anyone know if I was right about the woman’s name? I would love to thank her without bawling. Sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, without wide, anxious eyes. Without resembling a feral animal stuck in a trap that it cannot get out of.. and I would like her to know how my daughter, Tate, is now. Yesterday was 5 months and she (CVS) was on my mind.. She rubbed my hands and told me SHE KNEW everything would be okay. Such a simple thing to say & yet.. Nobody said it. Nobody but her. I clung to every single word. You see, I AM the fixer. I am the matriarch. I hold everyone & everything together. Tate has a twin sister & little sister. They were shattered. I couldn’t continue to fall apart. THIS WOMAN? A perfect stranger? She allowed me time to break. She gave me solace in very little words, that gave me permission to lay my head on the counter and sob. She showed me the definition of what I’ve ALWAYS said to my children…. With grace, mercy & a whole lot of Moxy? ALL things are possible. I carry Moxy like a bad habit. But, she gave me the grace & mercy I so desperately begged for. Yes, all of this happened in 10 minutes. But please understand… It’s exactly what I needed to lift my head, straighten my crown & remember Her Royal Subjects: The 3 Princesses.
Tate spent a total of 29 days inpatient at Shirley Ryan Rehab in Chicago. She relearned to walk & talk. Her dominant side was taken. She has spent 5 months snatching it back. Piece by piece. Her speech is understandable. She has poor vision BUT she can see. For the first week? She could not. I’ll add photos, if I can.
Will somebody… Anybody please let me know if I got this woman’s name right? I owe her a massive debt of gratitude. Please & Thank you.

Inside was very clean and warm, I went on February and it was freezing cold and snow, when I went inside it was warm with the heater on and very friendly, I found everything I needed. “Beautiful atmosphere, lovely people work here, the food is phenomenal and so are the drinks too! Under new ownership and I love the changes and improvements they've made to the place. They sell little handcrafted items and paintings by local artists. This is a sit down restaurant where every meal is cooked only after you order it and how you want it. So, everything is always hot and fresh, come early and give yourself time to enjoy it. I'm gluten intolerant and dairy intolerant and this is one of the few places in town with delicious options for people like us. 100 percent recommend this place and if you don't like this place, you're definitely the problem, not them.”

There is only ever one or two people working when I come in and its always busy. So Definitely not saying anything bad about employees they are all awesome and friendly. 5 stars for them. “Well they finally got whatever the problem was worked out and back open for business. Having only been open for the first shift and closed after that really took a toll on everyone in the neighborhood. The ladies working there now along with the gentleman is back to being top notch. While it's not as busy as some of the other stores it's still an important store for us neighbors being convenient and being able to get our beverages and snacks. And of course gas.”

“Always extremely busy. I stopped in for gas and a couple of items. They are always lined up at the register but get thru each customer very quickly and pleasantly. The gas is generally cheaper here and its also easy to get in and out of on a very busy Bluffton Rd. In Waynedale. Always my go to when I'm in town visiting. Great gas/convenience store that's been in the Fort Wayne area since I was a kid in the 70s. 5 stars to this day.”
