This is the best program that fort Wayne has due to the staff members they will help if needed and give items that you need not WANT ladies and children and also if men's to but more with beautiful ladyies that is willing to put God first ??????????

CHARIS HOUSE IS NOT A PLACE FOR HOMELESS WOMEN TO STAY UNTIL THEY TRY TO FIND A PLACE TO LIVE ON THEIR OWN PLUS I WISH THE EMPLOYEES WOULD QUIT CHECKING EVERY WOMENS BAGS AND LUGGAGE EVERY NIGHT AT THE RESCUE MISSION IT IS INVADING OUR PRIVACY PLUS THEY TREAT US LIKE PRISONERS BY NOT HELPING US FIND A PLACE OF OUR OWN .

Very clean. Kind and generous people you'll ever meet. If you're a homeless women and or have children this is the place. Call or go to 404 E Washington Blvd the rescue mission downtown Fort Wayne Indiana.

Charris house has a lot of good points. Nice to know a person doesn't have to be completely homeless. Life is truly what I make it. I choose to follow the rules which can appear to be very strict, but I know for a fact strict can keep you out of jail. But I digress. Everything is choice. Haven't quite adhere to all of this but for me it's something to ponder. I can choose to follow there strict rules or I can be further homeless.

This place is beyond amazing!!!Great food!Great staff (except that 1... it's always that one miserable person in every setting!) But the staff here is loving, friendly, supportive, encouraging and understanding!!!!!This is the BEST EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD SINCE I'VE BEEN IN FORT WAYNE 114 DAYS!!HANDS DOWN, I LOVE IT!!!

If you want to save your life from addiction this is the place to go! Staff is very supportive and you feel very safe at Charis House. One of the best.

Very depressing place, feels like a prison. Treats everyone as if they’re an addict. Staff very unprofessional, rude, and constantly gossip about residents instead of helping. Only give out a quarter of donations and either pocket or throw out the rest. You can’t work for 6-8 months so good luck on saving. I could say more but this is just whats on the surface. All in all the program is not helpful in any way and I would never recommend.

horrible place horrible staff . Very manipulative Liars . Bed bugs . Very prison like . They talk about the people they help . Very unprofessional staff are instigators and very unreasonable rude and disrespectful .

Horrible had bad bed bugs blamed it on me and said It was from me kept me in a bed bug infested place .Gossiping about people they were helpingTalking bad about clients and making fun of them .not very Christian to be a christian place . Staff are liars and very manipulative. Feels like prison more than a shelter WOULD NOT RECCOMEND
