Broadway aquatics was the last remaining locally owned aquatic store in Fort Wayne and for the past several years has been my go to aquatic store. I have bought many fish and supplies from them even though it was a 50 mile drive for me that's how good they were with a great selection of healthy fish, reasonable prices and a very knowledgeable staff. Unfortunately, the longtime owner sold to Colorado based MC aquatics. They operated the store for about a year then on January 11th 2024 the store was permanently closed.

I went in to see my friends which were the owners, and I was told that they didn't own the place anymore they sold it. On my tour of the place that would explain the filthiness of the tanks and the darkness in the tank room, only reason I'm giving them two stars is because the employees were polite and nice. But it's a damn shame that they let the place go down like that!!!

Great little shop! The staff were very patient and informative especially for me who is a beginner. Prices were on par with any of the big box stores. Great experience.

There were maybe two fish in the whole store who looked like they weren't perfectly healthy, and that is really amazing, with the vast number, size, and variety of creatures they have available. The employees are helpful and easy to talk to. They have very little in the way of aquarium decorations, but it's clear their focus is on the fish, themselves.

I usually don't leave reviews but I'm a little upset with what I experienced at Broadway Aquatics. I'm new to everything fish related and was looking to get started. I had $800 in my pocket to spend...walked around for 10 minutes and not one of the four employees talking around the counter asked me if I needed help... I even made eye contact. Love supporting locally owned businesses but I will definitely never go back. Plus the place was not clean at all. Red Flag.

My pelco and my other two fish died from ick. The guy at the store said they won't replace the fish after two days. I will gladly take business else where even mejiers does a better job on fish then this fish store. Some of the tanks were so cloudy you couldn't even see the fish. Not a surprise our fish died. Will NOT be returning to this store

This place is incredible.Just the knowledge and expertise is mind boggling.They have a massive assortment of fish.Water is always clean.Fish are amazingly healthy.I've purchased many a fish from them and all have thrived and I cannot say the same for competition such as Uncle Bill.I highly recommend for your aquarium needs.One thing I love is they do NOT have a central water system. Each tank has its own ecosystem and water. All of the big box places have one water system that constantly feeds all the tanks. Which is why the fish are more likely to die, and why they use more chemicals.Lastly they are actually better priced than anyone in town.My go to for all my fish aquarium needsBen

Nice selection of Koi and other fish at reasonable prices. Got 4 beautiful Koi here. Very helpful owner. Highly recommend.
