Yesterday I went to the Belmont Beverage store #22 on Illinois Rd - Fort Wayne - picked up two bottles - label price showed $24.99 - took it to the register - the young man scanned the bottles that showed a $32.99 price - mentioned to him that the price label is 24 - at that moment what appeared to be the manager approached the cash register - aggressively took charge and tells me he can't sell the bottles for the label price - I did not have a problem with the higher price just an explanation - people do make mistakes -but no apology for the mistake - just a very unfriendly and rude manager - Not a good encounter at all!

Nice selection of beer wine and spirits. However Belmont Beverage (like everyone else) is trending to micro brews instead of imports, and it is getting harder for me ( the minority apparently) to find a beer I would like to try.

What I liked about this store is that is sells what it specializes in…beverages and not much more. Other big box chains focus more on the other stuff, so it was refreshing to see the focus on beer wine and liquor vs 1,000 kinds of chips.Good sized cooler section..you can probably try a different beer every day for a year!!
