Today I really want to give a shout-out to the staff and service at Allen Vet Hospital. This is the second time I had to seek urgent treatment for my dog. I am amazed that I could not find a vet clinic that takes walk-ins. Thankfully the staff at New Haven Hospital was kind enough to tell me to try Allen Vet Hospital and I have no regrets. The facility was clean, the staff was really friendly, the service was great, and the bill was unexpectedly reasonable. In the last episode I had no choice but to go to the Emergency Hospital and that really dented my pocket after waiting for hours. It might have just been my lucky day but I had about a 15 min wait if so much at Allen today. I believe in giving credit where credit is due so today I applaud Allen Vet Hospital over by Waynedale. (They have a new address on Mill Run Rd).

I love this place they are so great with my animals they're loving and caring they treat my dogs as if they were their own pets they provided great service even during the difficult time with the pandemic then made it easy to get in and out for your appointment get medications and answer all questions very well I have been using this that for approximately 10 years maybe longer and I wouldn't consider using others I've went to a few other ones but did not like the service the attitude or the environment so I went back here I recommend you take your fur babies to this great place

Thankful they offer drop in appointments! Very nice staff and reasonably priced. We will definitely take our pets to them in the future !

We have 3 English Bulldogs we took to Dr. Rademaker there, his dad specialized in them but has since retired. We didn't know what to expect with his son as we had never worked with him before. Turns out the younger Dr. Rademaker is a wonderful doctor just as his father was. He showed genuine concern for our dogs, he was very thorough in his assessments on all 3, and he was very informative. We had taken them to other vets over the past year and their ailments continued so that's why we went to Allen Veterinary Hospital and the treatments Dr. Rademaker suggested and medication he prescribed worked and has made our dogs' quality of life so much better. Only reason I only gave 4 stars is because we had to correct medical background information several times on our dogs because the reception area staff wrote down the wrong information on the wrong dogs, but I couldn't have asked for a better Veterinarian than Dr. Rademaker!!

I absolutely love this Vet! They are always super with Simba my Staffordshire bully. He has horrible allergies and they have helped keep them under control. Everyone is always very helpful and professional.

What more can I say except……Compassionate. When I have taken one of my cats or dogs, they genuinely seek the best option for my furry children. I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

Any other time we come here I don't mind the wait , but for the last three days we've been going to try to get our dog in and the woman at the desk informed us that they'll be on break from 10:00AM until 2:00PM, what job take 4 hour break I don't know. Very unprofessional. We got there around 1:40PM today and they were not closed for break. They informed us that our dog is over do which we know we've been trying to bring her for the last 3 days. We are people filled with a busy life we try to bring her when we can but these lasts days has been absurd. Don't like dealing with this clinic they have given my dog multiple shots and haven't once explained for what.

I have used Allen Vets for at least 25 years , and feel that they are the best ! I am a "helicopter " dog parent of 3 dogs. I trust this group of professionals with my precious babies. They are kind , compassionate , very good listeners , and always go the extra mile for me. I understand that waiting is irritating , BUT , it is because they are giving their best to each patient during this difficult time .From the front desk to the Doctors - they treat me and my pets as friends , and I am so thankful for their service .

I was a little nervous coming here short notice because I have never been here and wanted my animal to have a good experience. Most of the reviews were good for this place and it was close to my house so I decided to give them a try.I was very pleased with the friendly and quality service provided to me and my dog. They were also honest with me how much their services would cost because I had told them I only had about 200 dollars available at the time. They examined my dog thoroughly, vet exam and xray, even gave him a vaccine he was missing and got us out the door for a little less than 200 dollars. Prices seemed fair and cheap to me and I was very happy with the services provided to my dog, which were a vet exam, x-rays, and vaccination. They also gave me a heartworm sample for him and a flea and tick sample.The people here really seem to care about the animals coming in.They also are considered a walk in so you can take your animals here in an emergency. There may be a little bit of a wait. I think that's understandable. I may be returning to them more in the future. Me and Bo were very pleased to say the least!
